These daily meditations have been sustaining me through personal tragedy in the last few weeks. They are simple and true to the ACIM principles. While I love Gabby Bernstein and her fresh approach to ACIM, Marianne is the more evolved spirit of the two and her writing is, as always, fluent and compelling in it's simplicity.
Whilst I have been held in the warm embrace of this writing in the last few weeks, i have no doubt that it will become an eternal current read for me. I still struggle with ACIM in the original text and Marianne just simplifies it and keeps it accessible for me.
Please don't be out off by the feeling that this is biblical. God is the spirit of love and I replace "god" with the word love , or spirit as I read and I don't find that this detracts from the message.

This is perhaps the best devotional I've ever used. I found it so relevant, weighty and inspiring that I've determined to spend another 365 days with it in 2015. The book will remain a permanent part of my personal library. It deserves my highest recommendation.

A couple dozen days into the book, I started to feel like my faith was more traditional (I'm a practicing Presbyterian) than the audience Williamson intended. I'm comfortable talking about faith and God and sometimes it seems like she's skirting those topics. I wanted to give the book a BIG benefit of the doubt because two of my friends are reading it and loving it. But the entry for Day 83, which closed with "May I always remember that the one I truly serve is myself" was the last one I read.

I absolutely LOVED this book! Since I read it on the Kindle, it is covered in highlights...there were too many passages that I wanted to remember, reread and process. This has to be my favorite "devotional" hands down. I plan on buying a hard copy also.

I reach for this book often - but not daily. I have found that when I ask for guidance, the book falls open to exactly the right place. Definitely a staple on my shelf.

“The universe both self-organizes and self-corrects.” In this astonishingly timely daily reader by Marianne Williamson, I find illuminating thoughts about our world, ourselves, and understand personal and global needs for all people. “The universe is not random but intentional … it intends a greater good for all living things.” Letting go of ego and selfish power, letting go of fear, letting go of pain is the medicine that alters thoughts into peace, love, and calm. This year, 2020, of the pandemic, of so much aggression, during our US election, I do believe we are in a time of self-correction not only by the universe, but also by our search for honesty and facts. Marianne is a truth teller and we certainly need this now more than ever in our country, which has been overwhelmed with a spinning wheel of lies and falsehoods from government and from those who choose not to recognize truths and reality. Marianne says when we ‘speak from our hearts, others will hear with their hearts.’ We do not have to dwell in a universe of darkness, hate, and aggression. This daily reader (365 1-page reflections, a 5-minute read) provides a clear focus for every day to reset our intention using a “cause and effect” practice. “We change the world by changing the thoughts we think about the world.” I read this book a couple of years ago and liked it very much. Now, I am rereading it. We are in another shift out of the tumultuous times of 2020. This book is a daily guide for readers to make that shift into being centered, being in a good place, expanding the true self, and living each day in more meaningful, loving way. “For the good of all” is on every page and if ever was a time when we need to unite in goodness, it is right now. Highly recommended. Paula Cappa is an avid book reviewer and an award-winning supernatural mystery author of novels and short stories.

I've been reading Marianne's work and listening to her lectures for over 20 years now, and I swear she just keeps getting better! With this book, she has hit it out of the park. It is a treasure trove of spiritual inspiration, prayers, meditations, and reflections. Not to be missed! It is a reference you will turn to again and again.

This is a book that I read and read again. There is always something there that I didn't get the first time through. It's a warm hug, a smile, a feeling of deep love.

It's just what I need to dip my foot deeper into ACIM. I didn't have the discipline to make it thru that course. This book connects me to the course with a better understanding

It took me longer than a year to complete this book, but I am amazed at the difference between the person I am now and the person I was when I began reading it. Clearly this cannot all be credited to the book, but I am grateful for the things I have learned from this book alongside everything else for the past two years. It made a difference.

Beautifully written, just like her other books. I only read a little of it because I borrowed it from the library and it's the kind of book that I need to own and highlight. But now that I write this, I'm thinking it would be difficult not to highlight practically the whole book because it's about things like forgiveness, prayer, and transformation...

I'm calling this my self help book for the Read Harder Challenge of 2015 but basically, I read this every morning with my lesson and I'm sure I'll be doing it again this year. I love Marianne. Her insight into the Course is palpable and easily understood. This is a lifelong practice.

Transformative collection of short daily meditations

Marianne Williamson is masterful in translating the teachings of ACIM into plain English. I reflected on these daily devotions everyday for a year and it was life changing. Looking forward to re-reading these starting on Jan 1.

Another amazing book from Marianne

The readings in this book were so inspiring and encouraging. I shared a few excerpts with my followers and they ended up buying the book too. I cannot wait to go through it again in 2019.

I can’t believe I’m finally done. It was. Fine. Just very woo woo and religious-y, despite Williamson’s claims that the book is for “anyone” to “interpret” how they please. I am NOT Christian- if you are, this review is not for you!

I have not done ACIM nor have I read her book a Return to Love in its entirety. My mother in law is a devotee of Ms. Williamson so I have copies of both given to me. This was the latest book gifted to me written by this author and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. As a Christian I enjoyed the balance between the biblical and the spiritual. Some of the co-creation stuff turned me off but I just flipped past those pages. One of the sweetest prayers I have ever heard is in this book "Dear God, I place my relationship with ____in your hands. May my presence be a blessing on his life, and may he be a blessing on mine. May my thoughts toward him be those of innocence and love, and may his toward me be the same. Amen." - I call it my resentment prayer and I will go back to it when needed for my lifetime. I also may go back thru this daily devotional in my rotation of the daily readers that I have around to use during my morning quiet time.

Yes, this is a wonderful ray of light to guide those who need to form or re-establish a most basic connection with God. It is wonderful as a reminder to those who sit in communion daily, but nothing really new and lacking for those with a strong faith, especially a strong Christian faith.
She speaks to lifting the veil, living in the world but not of it, claiming our birth rite to God's powerful miracles, dissolving fear, healing through love and light, surrendering, nonjudgmental forgiveness, co-creating beyond limited human capacity... all fabulous concepts with prayers that call on God to assist us with thy grace.
