Anne Lorne Gillies, Anna Latharna NicGillìosa is a Scottish singer, writer and activist. She is a classically trained musician and a professional singer/songwriter. She was born in Stirling in 1944, and raised on a croft in Argyll from the age of five.

I've dipped into this for reference rather than 'read' - and indeed know this is a book I will come back yo many times to learn more about a particular song, and from there also to learn about language, culture and history.
