The new generation of Hunter is here! Meet Jonathan Hunter, only son of billionaire CEO Joshua Hunter from the best-selling The Billionaire's Desire series!

There's this thing called chemistry, which can't be explained, it's either there or it's not and it can't be denied. For Skylar Miller chemistry was the one thing she didn't consider when she hatched her perfect plan for her freshman year of college: study hard, make new friends and stay away from boys. Still healing from an unforgivable betrayal, the last thing she needed was to see the gorgeous lead singer of Sonic Blaze belting out lyrics to her from that stage. He was tall, dark and sexy; everything she should run from, but didn't want to.

Her world is turned upside down the night of her dorm meeting when she looks up to see the lead singer of the band introducing himself to the room as their Resident Advisor. College senior, Jonathan Hunter, is even more gorgeous than she remembered and he seems to have eyes only for her. When she finds out he is the son of Joshua Hunter, Billionaire CEO of Hunter International, all of her insecurities rise to the surface. Can a girl from meager means really fit in with such a wealthy family like his? And has Skylar misjudged Jonathan? Torn between his love of music and family business obligations, Jonathan turns to Skylar for comfort. But is she the only one he is turning to?

Ugh!!! I feel like throwing a big temper tantrum right now! I not a happy reader!!! Have you ever been so into a book that you don't even bother to look down to see how much was left??? Well this dang book ended and its not fair! :( I was on the edge of my seat and its over. I better not have to wait to long for the next book or I'm gonna cry.

Okay so about the book. Well there's this girl Sky who just graduated, and just been betrayed by her best friend and boyfriend and its looking for anything new but of course she found it in johnathan hunter! Sexy smart rich lead singer wants her, well after a miscommunication with a big boonies barbi with a i she finally gives in everything is going perfect he's taking her home for thanksgiving and they love each other happy ending the end right??? Well that's no the end...no turns out he might not be the sweet honest guy we thought he was. I'm holding out hope that there's been a big misunderstanding but he's got some explaining to do!

Great first book ready for another one any second....

The basic premise of the story held a lot of promise - a new college student and a billionaire rock star - but the writing left a lot to be desired. There were just sections that were lacking in transitions. Overall, the writing seems a bit amateurish.

I also didn't like Sky as the voice of the story; maybe it's the writing style but I found her to be self-absorbed. The fact that she's supposed to be this smart girl going to college on scholarship didn't translate well with her immature thinking.

I did like Jonathan though. Although his character doesn't seem to be fleshed out enough, I feel like there is more to him that still needs to be told. I also found his family dynamics fascinating. A part of me wants to pick up Ashley Blake's other billionaire series just to find out what the deal is with Jonathan's parents.

The ending was frustrating as well. Talk about unresolved angst! I guess if you care enough what happens to Sky and Jonathan next (and I sort of do), then proceed to the sequel.

College romance not lacking in drama.

Finishing with a cliffhanger

Sky has insecurities and being with the hot rich singer of a band every girl wants in college makes her green moster eyes shine its annoying but having been cheated on before is also understandable.

Its a good college giggly girl kinda read, wanting to experience everthing college has, boys, partys, friendships & love.

I really liked it a lot although in the beginning I didn't really liked the writing or at least how there flirting was written but overall I enjoyed. It was a short read with a cliffhanger. On to read the 2nd book. :)

Blake’s purpose for writing his book, Beautiful Sky, is to inform her audiences that love can be found anywhere at any time. Love can come unexpectedly without you even knowing. Destruction can occur at any given moment leaving the audiences believing that love sucks. It leaves a lasting impression on its readers because it shows how powerful love is. Love can cause so much pain that it cause you to always be there for one another. This book holds a lasting impression because it shows how love positively contributes to someone’s life.
Beautiful Sky is written extremely well. This story is easy to read because it contains less exhausting vocabulary. Blake made sure to include background information to any certain situation so the reader was updated on everything. The author included how the main character attitude and behavior was advancing. When Skylar realizes Jonathan is a player she says “I should have stuck to my original plan and stayed away from guys. But Jonathan drew me in, I thought he was different, and I thought he was the guy of my dreams. How could I have been so wrong? As I started to drift off to sleep, tears were still rolling down my cheeks and I wished I had never met Jonathan Hunter. Why does love have to hurt so much? (Blake 58).

This book was exceptionally captivating. The author creates anticipation by making the reader feel that love was going to occur, sadly it did not. When Jonathan asks out Skylar, the reader experiences an impression of ‘’at last”! There was a time in the story when drama occurred. Skylar ex-boyfriend Seth cheated on her with her best friend Bethany. This caused Skylar to have trust issues in a relationship and friendship. The story was so dramatic there was point where I imagined myself in Skylar shoes. In the story the Skylar states, “That chapter of your life is over Skylar and it might not feel like it now, but you have big, big things ahead in your life. One day this will be nothing but a distant memory” (Blake2). This warns the reader that there will be drama, but not for long though.

The greatest weakness in this book is when Jonathan cheats on Skylar. This sudden situation was not expect because the readers feels if you got cheat on one time that’s it. There were clues that lead up to this miss happening. For example, Barbs went up to Jonathan to tell him the exciting new that she will spend thanksgiving at his place, in front of Skylar. Barb was still in the room when Jonathan came out the shower. Skylar sensed something was up. The reader is left feeling unhappy and angry because Skylar has already been through this before. The greatest strength of this book was that it was well written. It always had specific places and dates. I definitely related to this book because it made me realize that love hurts!

I would recommend this book to a friend because it includes all the things she is looking for in a book. The author is an awesome because she leaves you with a feeling wanting more. She uses very vigorous vocabulary like “. I had a concrete wall protecting my heart and I vowed to myself to never allow anything like that betrayal to happen to me again” (Blake 3). This book would be perfect for readers who enjoy love stories with a dramatic ending.

If you like short-story with teenage drama this is for you.

Skylar Miller is a cliché walking girl. The poor one has been cheated by her best friends - boyfriend with BFF, the cliché - and now swears for everything that is important that guys are not on her plan when she gets to college.
She gets there and her plan, obviously, doesn't exist anymore. Jonathan Hunter, a very rich, handsome, singer, and single man has his eyes set on Skylar (Sky) from the very first day; his background rises insecurities for Sky, but she’s determined to set them aside, cause, well - they fall in love quite quickly.

Honestly, this book even though showing steamy scenes (like one or two), I would have considered it to be an YA Book. There were a lot of girlie situations, that might exist within the adult world, but it’s still way too tied up with teenager hormones than anything else.
If you hate cliffhangers, I strongly suggest for you to wait for the second book, which I have no idea when it will be out, but if YOU can wait, please do.

What the?! (Nope, I'm not gonna swear)

What the happen? (What happened?)
What the ending? (What's the ending)

I'm just a bit taken aback by the ending! I tend to love the book so much that I didn't notice it ending with a big halt!
I hate cliffhangers especially of a book that I can't still find the sequel.
My hands are itching to hold the next book.

So there 4 Stars! (talking about PAYBACK..hahaha!)

It was supposed to be 5 stars.

Why?

1. I fell in love with the story.
2. Jonathan Hunter is absolutely the ideal man! (make it IDEAL!)
3. I like Sky.

but I promise to edit those stars into 5 stars once I have the sequel in my hands..:)

Skyler learns the hard way that not everyone who claims to love you does. So she goes off to college to start new. She has swarn off men & just wants to make new friends and study hard that was before she net Jonathan. Jonathan is the son of a rich man that u meet the billionaires desire. Jonathan loves his family but he has his own dreams that he knows he can never follow. Then he meets sky and the chemistry is off the charts. Sky is surprise that Joshua is a one woman kind of man but he is equally determined to prove she is it for him. This book is an amazing start to their love story. I would recommend this book to anyone.

This story had the potential to be 5 stars, but it's very rushed, to much happens for a short story (it's short compared to other e books) while I did enjoy the story line, there were typing errors throughout, for example "Married, Kate your talking cra cra right now"
Wtf is cra cra? The ending was silly, it's an unfinished open ending, even if there is going to be a book #2 the ending for this book could have been more clear and had a better ending for this book, and still be able to continue on to the next book- one that I wont be purchasing any time soon.

This was a really short read but I enjoyed every minute of it. Sky and Jonathan make such a cute couple, and I am happy she had Katie as her roommate, she was funny and you instantly love her. But the ending, ends with a cliffhanger and I totally hate Barbi with an "i" although you feel bad for her based on her family issues, but the way she carries herself sucks. I can't wait to read the 2nd book to see what will happen.
But if you want something short and light to read that is still funny, and cute you should definitely get this book!
