The girls and I had just settled into a routine inside the walls of Moondale when the Quest Board demanded that we save the former villagers from a horde of orcs who are keeping them in a well-defended outpost.

I have to keep my girls safe, and I need to save the villagers.

That means the ladies and I are going to need to rank up quickly!

But greater evils than murderous orcs dwell in the Eros Woods.

And the dangers beyond the walls are nothing compared to the challenges I face inside the walls, with the bevy of beauties all vying for my attention—especially my three wives, who feel I am ignoring them. I think I might fear their anger more than an army of orcs!

The plot remains obscured

So this book was more of the first, though the focus this time was on exploring the powers and abilities of the classes given as well as exploring a bit of the Eros Woods. There is a dark theme running through the book, and so far, it has only been hinted at by the prose. Once again, the hardest part i had was keeping track of the characters:

Maeve - Huntress/Tracker - redhead, hazel eyes - 3rd sister-wife
Alex - Shadow Dancer/Mistress of Glooms - black hair, brown eyes - 1st sister-wife
Nikki - Martialist/Queen of Fists - platinum blonde, 5' 11" - 2nd sister-wife
Olivia - Amazon/Spear Mistress - Greek, olive colored skin, large russet brown eyes, and black hair dyed metallic blue
Alana - Healer/Expert Healer - Polynesian, brown hair with tawny eyes - healer
Hiroku - succubus - straight jet-black hair, dark brown eyes, Japanese
Dee Williams - Harem Mistress - 1st wife
Hannah - (sacrificed Cheer Fighter) - light gold hair and blue eyes, sub to Amber
Inola - Tracker - Native American, earth brown hair
Megan - Light Bringer - tall, lean, and muscular with short-cropped strawberry blonde hair
Kayla - Wise Woman (Moondale Administrator)- ash brown hair
Amber - (sacrificed Monster Killer) - dirty blonde, dom to Hannah
Sammi - Fire Weaver/Flame Thrower (village chef) - streaks of red through black hair
Tiffany - Sensory Mage
Alyssa -
Crystal - Warrior Acrobat - black hair with blue lines, 5' tall
Yanira - Latina, hungry brown hair and eyes
Asley - Shaman - dark skinned
Londyn - Personal Guard - silvery eyes
Izzy - Artificier - brown hair
Bridget - Ranger - copper (red) head
Maria - Bard - curly black hair
Jordyn - Revenant- silvery hair and eyes
Jasmyn - Scout - curly black hair and green eyes
Mackenzie
Stefani
Zoe
Jada - (Moondale Treasurer) - light brown skin
Chloe
Paige - Brawler - nearly six feet, with long black hair pulled back in a braid, and thick black eyebrows that hang above her silvery eyes.

Penny - the Compendium
Fiona - water nymph
Cerul - leader of the fey
Dioma - wood nymph
Junia - sprite
Lilith - "head" succubus

Fred - Dwarven male, shop proprietor
Marge - Dwarven female, shop proprietress
Lalania - Three Moons Tavern proprietress
Themis and Danna - Sultry Salon owners
Crasha the Smithy - blacksmith

An okay continuation

So, I finished it at least. It was good enough to finish. There was some good, and some bad.

The biggest bad was the grammar crimes. So many times the wrong word is used. I almost gave it 2 stars such a simple thing an editor or even getting proofreaders could fix.

Plus side, the smut is actually fairly good. While not the best out there it's varied. They're are some kinks I don't enjoy in it, but I don't downgrade for that, or for exploring something with a character I felt was a bad choice. That's preference?, I can live with that.

I can't live with the lack of depth. With just so many people there is never time to scratch beyond the surface. The MC even makes a comment "I don't even know their last names." Yet he's throwing around falling in love. I mean I guess I shouldn't be surprised many people conflate NRE with love, it's sad.

Despite all of that, the plot still has enough questions, and just enough bread crumbs, that it invests. Also, the MC does at least mean well, there's that fact he knows how bad it could be if he went evil. 2.5 stars though until some serious editing is done.

Too many grammatical errors, especially when dealing with quotes. Some frame a sentence that was meant to be narrative (it's very obvious), lots of hanging quotes that don't have a matching end (or beginning), and some issues with wording. Loses a star for this, it's so bad and pulled me out of the story. Same with the narrative exclamation marks, which are really annoying and make it sound cheesy.
Also, same as book 1, the text will suddenly go dark for a few paragraphs and then return to normal. Or be highlighted or something. The formatting is just awful.

Exciting and fast paced

A quick moving romp with numerous characters leveling in a world full of mystery and intrigue. The author has developed a story that captures the readers attention while developing so many new twists and turns that the reader is easily kept guessing what will happen next.

Great fun but desperate for an editor

Got 3 stars because the editing was so terrible. It is a fun story and the characters are interesting. The spice is heavy and there is magic that makes sense. The questions as to why they are in the situation are worth hanging around for.

Excellent!

As entertaining as the first one, my only complaint is that there is always a new crisis as soon as the last one is taken care of, it would be nice to get some down time in between threats of annihilation. Looking forward to seeing what new fun book 3 as in store.

On a roll

Slightly convoluted story watching the hero power up. Now to defeat Hiroku, the devil in the hen house. Gotta screw em faster, I thought the schedule would solve that.
