Takes too much time to figure out the choreography that's written out. Good information about diet, though nothing revolutionary. Try free YouTube videos or her new app to really experience the workout method (it's better in action, methinks).

This book is great for changing your thought process and how you see your self. It comes with an easy to follow exercise program. Also included is a food plan with easy to follow recipes and a grocery list to save you the time and effort needed to plan everything. I love how easy it is to follow the plan with little prep needed from the reader.

Simone believes a workout needs to include both cardio & strength training, more like a Tibatta workout. I had been alternating days of all cardio & weights. But I did notice that I sweat more & my heart rate is higher when I combine the 2. Now if only I could do this regularly. I have only lost about 5 lbs doing this. I think if I increased my intensity and was stricter about really following her plan instead of only doing it occasionally that I'd have better results

I enjoyed seeing her workout and eating habits. She gives a specific routine for both eating and working out.
This book lead me to look up her routines on YouTube which I enjoy more.

I'm a recreational dancer who has carried around a few extra pounds since a knee surgery a few years ago. Despite the amount of dancing I do, I've been unable to drop the majority of the new weight. I picked this book up from the library in the hopes of gleaning a new approach to losing the weight.

De La Rue is definitely upbeat, and her tone is irresitably likeable and readable. However, the section on nutrition was pretty poorly done. Very little actual information was presented, and most of her suggestions are generally considered a bad idea by most nutritionists who aren't trying to sell you a plan of their own.

I didn't find the cardio workouts to be all that great, but they were easily and clearly presented. I think this book was created more for non-dancers than for people who are still dancing.

Overall, I found some encouragement in her writing, but nothing in the way of instruction. This is a great book to take out of the library for motivation, but for actual workouts, there are tonnes of better ones on youtube for free.

If you love to dance then you'd love this book. This was definitely from a dancers perspective. A lot of the workouts and the meal plan was developed from her years as a professional dancer, but the good thing is even if you're not into dance you can still follow this program.

The program isn't hard to follow, but I do not have a lot of the equipment that's needed and I was not willing to go shopping for them.

Overall, this is a nice book if you're wanting to start a new lifestyle, but I feel like there are other books out there that does a better job.

One of my favorite exercise/eat right/change your life books-very no nonsense information, excellent workout routine anyone could do (with levels from beginner to advanced), and well written. I love Simone's workout routine-just wish I could see her dance! Her workouts are also on Youtube.

I really liked the plan Simone lays out. But I think this book will be more beneficial when I can buy it and refer back to it. (Not return it to the library. Lol)

Nothing earthshattering or new. Kudos to Simone for looking amazing, but the book didn't add anything new to my knowledgebase.

A good book for people that have little physical preparation. For me it wasn't so extraordinary
