Wow! How did I miss these? Graphic novel set in the Oz universe- original stories that are believable continuation of the Baum stories. *Loved* the part when the Sawhorse comes to the deadly desert, pauses, realizing he isn't in fact made of flesh and won't thus be turned to dust, charges into the desert to rescue Dorothy from the trolls.

I LOVE comics (Marvel girl here with the exception of Batman) and The Wizard of Oz being in my top 15 fave films, this was a match made on ink, paper and storyboards.
