For the first part of a sixteen part serial, I was disappointed with the lack of conclusion. There was no story arc to speak of. Even individual parts of a larger serial need a beginning, middle, and some sort of end for reader satisfaction. Give me cliff hangers, but answer some of the questions set in the narrative first, right? This installment ended at the beginning.

Not as into this story of Mac Flynn as I usually am at this point. It could still be good with all the parts together but just not dying for the end because I have no ideal where this story is heading yet. Would still to read it all together because from all of Mac's other stories I would guess that it is just getting to the good parts.

Didn’t have the same engagement as other of Flynn’s books. I am also disappointed that it is the first of a series of 11. 53 pages in length (possibly 30 as I have the font size larger). Flynn appears to be charging $4.99 for the other books in the series. At almost $55 for the series, I am not surprised that most of the other books in the series have not been reviewed.

I shouldn't complain. It is a free on Amazon. Plus many of the reviews did say it's an extremely short read.

I've encountered books with longer chapters than this installment. I also did a little research and found that each edition is indeed chapter length. But I thought what the hey, I have a spare hour to blitz.

After reading (and quickly forgetting) this prologue?? I can say with all confidence that I will not be pursuing this book. The prices don't seem to justify the need and there wasn't enough sustenance to keep me enthralled.

However if the editions had been collectively bound into maybe a four part series I may have contemplated pursuing it. As it stands this will be relegated to The End file.

there wasn't even much of a story. I still don't understand why they put a disclaimer in the beginning about adult content when there wasn't any. They shouldnt have even had wolf in the title. With 58 pages with 2 lists of the authors other books one in the beginning AMD one in the end and with the disclaimer pages and cover page, there was IF YOUR LUCKY maybe a full page about a wolf and I wouldnt even go that far. It claims to be Paranormal Romance but had barely any of either if any.. 2 stars is stretching it.... maybe the other books in the series are good but this books doesn't make me want to read any of them

This book was not what I was expecting. If you want a paranormal romance with sex scenes as the book is labeled then please do not buy this book. I could not even begin to like Stephanie because I had such high hopes for the book. As another reviewer pointed out the book was supposed to be about a wolf or something to do with a wolf. With a brief entrance of a wolf and a quick exit this story did absolutely nothing to cure my paranormal romance wants. It fell flat for me.

Very short story, just getting to know the characters and it ends you also need to get book two to find out what happens as it just stops. Admittedly it was a free down load but won't be bothering with book two.
