Cambric Creek #1

Morning Glory Milking Farm

Rate this book
Violet is a typical, down-on-her-luck millennial: mid-twenties, over-educated and drowning in debt, on the verge of moving into her parents' basement. When a lifeline appears in the form of a very unconventional job in neighboring Cambric Creek, she has no choice but to grab at it with both hands.

Morning Glory Farm offers full-time hours, full benefits, and generous pay with no experience needed . . . there’s only one catch. The clientele is Grade A certified prime beef, with the manly, meaty endowments to match. Hands-on work with minotaurs isn’t something Violet ever considered as a career option, but she’s determined to turn the opportunity into a reversal of fortune.

When a stern, deep-voiced client begins to specially request her for his sessions at the farm, maintaining her professionalism and keeping him out of her dreams is easier said than done. Violet is resolved to make a dent in her student loans and afford name-brand orange juice, and a one-sided crush on an out-of-her-league minotaur is not a part of her plan—unless her feelings aren’t so one-sided after all.

Morning Glory Farm is a short human/monster romance novel (60k), featuring a high heat slow burn with a lot of heart, and a guaranteed HEA. It is the first book in the Cambric Creek Monster Romance series and can be read as a standalone. CWs are viewable on the author's website.

This isn't what the hero looks like at all (nor what I imagined him to be), but the world building reminded me too much of Zootopia with mythical creatures.

Welp moving on. I didn't appreciate how long this was. A lot of useless information I'm pretty sure everyone skimmed. With that negative aside, I can't believe how much I liked the romance. It was an unexpectedly good balance of sweet and hot. Some might say weird too considering the unofficial tropes in this are:

Glory hole
+

Massive minotaur dick
+

"a collection technician" which in much simpler terms stands for the person on the other side of the glory hole doing the "milking"
=

Every monster dick fantasy I've ever had coming true hallelujah.

I also really liked the hero. I'm sorry but damn that minotaur was hot. The way he was described?
description

“I have no doubt in my heart that I’d love my own child with everything in me. Other people’s children though, they’re . . . they’re just terrible.”

Not this man minotaur being my actual soulmate🧒🚫

Although I don't think I have ever read anything as thoroughly described as his penis. The handjob scenes were narrated so sensually, with such precision and oh how delicately detailed🤌. The descriptions of his cock were downright beautiful, almost had me shed a tear.

THE SEX SCENES HOWEVER👀👀 were a different story entirely.

The backward drag of him pulling out made her throat stick, and then he was pushing back in, further than he’d gone before, and Violet was positive she felt it pressing into her spine.

OKAY I SEE I SEE
description

She knew how much he came, saw the evidence of his orgasms every week, but nothing had prepared her for being on the receiving end of twenty-four ounces of his hot milk. She was able to feel it already dripping out of her, the obscene squelch of his erupting cock emphasizing the mess that was being made.

description

Ya'll I'm sorry but they didn't even move straight away💀💀💀💀just laid in this SQUILCHING lake of cum

I AM SHAJAKCSDJKCWCBE

“St-stop! Hugghhh . . . ”
She’d pulled back in surprise from where she’d knelt before him, months earlier, a thin strand of drool connecting her mouth to his cock, only to watch her giant, strong boyfriend retch dramatically. “I can’t—I can’t deal with gagging,” he gasped, hunching nearly to where she knelt before him, horns cutting through the air. “ Hurgghh . . .you gag, I gag. Don’t-don’t do that again.

description

THE WAY HE GAGGED, THAT IS SO EMBARRASSING FOR HER I AM IN BLOODY TEARS🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

But hold on, here's what GOT ME gagging all over the place.....

I finish the book alright. Satisfied, happy, glowing. Then I turn the page and SEE THIS😭😭😭😭

Whaaaaaat did I just read and why was it so great? It's exactly what you think it is, but it's not creepy? And the hero is an absolute gem. This is so sweet and smutty. I stayed up far too late reading this and now I need to read everything else this author has written.

4.5 stars 🥛

me hiding from the fact that I gave a book about milking minotaur dicks 5 stars

description

I didn't expect this to be good at all which actually made me appreciate it way more. This is set in a world full of monsters, like vampires, orgs, elves and most importantly, minotaurs. In case you're wondering, a minotaur is a monster in Greek mythology that has the "body of a man and the head of a bull". But in this book, the only monster is all the monster cocks

description

Moving on, the heroine, Violet, gets a job at the farm of a pharmaceutical company called Morning Glory Milking Farm, which off the bat sounds like a sex thing??? I would have been sus as hell walking into this "farm" after reading that name. This farm, much to the surprise of heroine and me, collects cum from minotaurs to use for medication for humans. So, the heroine goes in, strokes a few dicks, collects their cum and it gets sent off.

On her first ever "collection" she meets the hero, Rourke, and she gets him off so good, he cums back for seconds. Sorry these puns are just coming to me left and right (pun not intended).

Most of the book is just Violet and Rourke only meeting at the farm, but when they finally start meeting outside of it, it gets to the juicy shit. Like the dirty talk—

"Eating this pussy is going to be my new favorite meal. Anytime she wants to be stuffed with my fat bull cock, I'll be there to fuck you so good you won't be able to remember your own name."

→this is the only book that can say "bull cock" without having me cringe and I stand by that

Let's not forget one of my favorite lines—

"I want to feel you come around my cock, Violet. I want you to squeeze me until your cunt has the permanent shape of me, because it's the only cock that's ever going to make you scream like this again."

description

Someone just brought to my attention that I missed Rourke getting fingered???

It was a juggling act—keeping her mouth around his cock and milking his balls with one, hand while using the other to work two fingers into his ass, the right ring of muscle sucking her in as she pumped against him...it never failed to make him erupt like a geyser.

So not only are we getting some backdoor action, but she's fingered him before and it wasn't on page?!!!

description
Dear author,
I'm taking this personally💋

This book is officially the standard all monster novellas/novels have to meet to be considered worth my time 😌

note: the heroine continues to "collect" from other minotaurs and the hero gets a handy a few times with a diff girl when the heroine doesn't show up for a couple weeks. I mean, I didn't really care, but just a warning to all those that don't like ow/om stuff in books. There's no drama that happens tho

Our eyes will never see the gates of heaven.

Edit: I have revised my rating twice and I’m just giving it 5 stars now. I know what I am. I know what you are. And I know what Rourke is. Talk about horny. (That’s a great joke.)

God bless America! It’s great to live in a country where I can casually enjoy cozy erotica about a young woman who milks her way to financial security and true love with a Minotaur. This is what freedom looks like, and I intend to fully enjoy it — before the Supreme Court takes this right away next 😖

Oh my god I did not expect to love this. Especially with that cover and title 😭

It’s a monster romance with a Minotaur! The writing was great (though it does switch between past and present a bit much) and the romance was so…. Sweet. And hot. The way he loves spoiling her?? And his filthy mouth??? *chef’s kiss*

I love the concept of this monster world and can’t wait to read more already!

LISTEN, LISTEN, LET ME EXPLAIN!!! No ok you know what, I’ve got nothing. We all know I’m partial to a monster romance. DONT JUDGE ME 👀👀. This was a silly fun time, think fluffy romance but make it super spicy and a lil weird. Human FMC and humanoid minotaur man bull thing. She has to get a job at the local minotaur milking practice to pay off her student loan. Sue me, I liked it.

5 Ruined for Any Other Stars ⭐

Wow! It's not often a book can impress me, shock me and turn me on in equal measures. This book comes completely out of left field and is surprisingly sweet and scandalous. Believe me when I say the cover is self-explanatory and this story is some of the best erotica I've read in a long while. Minotaurs you say?

“I can’t think of a single way it could be any more to my liking.”

Actually I'm not going to say too much because you'll either be intrigued or put off by the premise of this story. But for those of you willing to try Morning Glory Milking Farm, be prepared to fall in love with our human Violet and the gorgeous Minotaur Rourke. Violet is offering a service *ahem* when she instantly connects with Rourke. It's so much more than a rub and tug...

“The way you throb, and the sounds you make. I enjoy milking you dry.”

With an open mind, you too can experience the voodoo this author has conjured to have made me lust over a mythical creature like a dirty perv and love every bloody moment of it. The best part was the unexpected romance and love story woven throughout. 🖤

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

I was expecting straight smut and while I got that I hadn’t realized I’d get the sweetest love story. It’s definitely the strangest meetcute but one that works wonderfully in this scenario.

I just can’t get past 24 oz. Can you even imagine? That’s three cups, a pint and a half. They could never finish in your mouth, you’d fucking drown.

I’m not entirely sure why she’s freaked out to be the only human in the coffee shop. For weeks she’s been the only human at her job.

Honestly it was just a matter of time for feelings to come into play if there was already attraction. You would think it’s even more inevitable for him.

Oh man I freaking adore Geillis! I’m really hoping she gets a book.

Yes! Take the bull by the horns already!

I can quite honestly say I never thought I’d see the day but holy shit this Minotaur is dead fucking sexy!

Of course he wants to help you find a job, he obviously only wants your tiny human hands on his enormous bullhood.

It just hit me how hilarious it is that he’s mowing the lawn. His ancestors would be pissed that he’s wasting food. 🤪🤣

So cute, I hated to see it end. I’d happily live as a fly on the wall to see what happens next.

Ok, soooo.....ya,wow.
So I’ve not read the monster genre before, but have been into Alien Mates lately so I figured it’s a natural progression. And the cover for this book alone tells a story that either draws you in or repels you, are latex gloves sexy?
Anyway this story was surprisingly good, straddling the razor’s edge between romance and smut effectively. There was probably more descriptive scenes of oily HJs and semen extraction then necessary while the actual romance part was a really slow burn, if you can believe it, but it was well written and sweet. I left this book thinking that if it were a real possibility, I may be down with dating a lovable, cuddly Minotaur (minus the 24 ounces -0.7litres to my fellow Canadians - of jizz) don’t tell my husband.
Yet with all of the descriptive nature of the work that the heroine does and her imaginative fantasies I was kind of underwhelmed when Violet and Roark actually did the dirty deed. I think the hot metre should have gone higher at that point and not lower. But alas, I now am sucked in and can not wait for the moth man book to come out. I don’t like bugs so we will see if Nascosta can make that one hot for me.
Lastly, it does not escape me that I am giving this book the same rating that I gave Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice, I hope my 12th grade English teacher never finds my profile here.

Can’t decide whether this was a good weird or bad weird.

Also, this had way too many typos?

The timeline of the story didn’t necessarily make sense either. The writing would flow and then it wouldn’t?

Anyway.

This was an experience of sorts. I’m open to trying more monster romances. Humans are overrated anyway.

This was the most unserious book I’ve ever read in my whole life 🤣🤣🤣
I literally cackled the whole entire time, so it’s safe to say I was entertained. That deserves 3 stars.

If you go into this book knowing it is what it is - a human woman working at Minotaur milking farm, yep, BAHEHEHAHA… then you may find yourself having the most unexpected silly time. This was such a wild ride hahaha. There were so many times where I truly should have had the biggest ick but I’m sorry, it didn’t happen… I was too busy laughing out loud. I am actually cackling writing this review. Don’t judge me. This was genuinely so ridiculous 🤣🤣

Also, not gunna lie... they were actually really cute together too, lmao.
”But I’m in a position to comfortably spoil someone, so when you’re with me, I’m spoiling you. End of story.” < honestly Rourke was such a sweetie Minotaur. Just look past the fact he’s an actual bull and you’ll be fineeeeee.
I don’t even know how to explain the spice to you… all I’ll say is, Violet, get your half bull man girl 👀 🔥 🤣

Would I recommend this book? If you’re interested to try it - do it, do it, do it. Otherwise, I’d stay well away, you’ll probably be horrified and disgusted. The plot doesn’t exist beyond, well… what I said.
I won’t be held responsible for the fact that I kinda enjoyed this more than half the serious books I’ve tried to read recently. At least I got exactly what I knew I was getting and it was just a stupid and fun time.

I am crying. Goodnight.
P.S please don’t judge me.

Oh my. So this is probably the sweetest romance I could imagine for a premise that is so rooted in an erotic kink. I was totally cheering for Violet and Rourke, and would 100% read more in this series or from this author. I also liked that the author took the time to add a lot of little details about how the business model for the "farm" works, many of which made me laugh (the milk maid costume? the company swag that they give out to the Minotaurs? the lazy new coworker? all of it cracked me up). A very campy but somehow weirdly grounded take on speculative romance/monster romance, and be ye forewarned if "fluids" are something that bother you in your erotic romance

I read this as a joke with a group of girls I really like. Turns out I hate spending my precious hours on planet earth reading erotica that just feels like a drawn out tacky porno. No speed was fast enough for me to listen to listen to this audiobook. I will not be continuing the series. Hard pass. Not for me.

Violet is currently drowning in debt, doing all she can to survive without moving back into her parents house.
Until Morning Milking Farm offers generous pay that might help Violet survive, Violet applied for the job that might change her whole life.

You probably think it's just straight-up smut, but no.
The very sweet love story between the two, despite the very weird meet cute. And it also has a surprisingly slow burn? I didn't expect it at all.

“𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮?”
“𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚?”

He's such a sweetheart and a perfect gentleman.

And I think my only problem is that the timeline of the story is a little bit messy, like I had to re-read some parts to understand if it was the past or the present because it was just kind of thrown in, so there was a little bit of confusion in that part.
But nevertheless, it was great; I had fun.

3.5 stars. Ok, so I want to apologize to all my followers for the vulgar reviews these past few days. And to promise that I’ll be turning over a new leaf, here is another one! To start, the title alone had me laughing quite a bit. Second, if you told me this morning that I would learn how Earner minotaurs express 24 oz of ejaculate per shot, I’d tell you not a chance. But here we are. And my filthy mind has been polluted in several new and scary ways. Now Violet is our lead and Rourke is her love interest and he happens to be a minotaur. They meet at her job, which is jerking off minotaurs in a clinical setting. Their ejaculate is then processed and marketed to human males to make them a bit more virile. Nope, I didn’t make any of that up. Now the job itself left me with a lot of questions. For instance, the milking technicians had to use their hands to perform manual stimulation, despite having a machine-assisted process if the clients took to long to finish. So why not just use the machines and save these poor girls the risk of early onset arthritis from gripping those huge, girthy, veiny triumphant bastards? I also need to understand how a human female can not be ripped to shreds by a penis that size, too. It’s the equivalent of me sitting on a flagpole. Like there will be damage. So Violet must be a distant relative of DC’s Plastic Man. And they’re minotaurs…I get that they’re a hybrid beast, but it would have been wonderful to see that they had pubic hair resembling a labyrinth or something with their reproductive organs to set them apart. Nope, just got big ol’ normal looking phalli. The author really tried to make this an interesting story with some cool side characters like vampires. And you can tell the effort was made to not just have this read like a smut book. I just sort of wanted to see more unique circumstances in this new world. So many creatures and possibilities, yet a great deal of it, including where Rourke lived, just seemed very bland and typical for a human world. But for the most part, it was written well, despite a fair amount of typos and repetitive terms. The sexual encounters were solid, the characters were interesting, and the author took some risks with a unique premise. Regine Abel still holds the crown for creating well rounded beast erotica, but CM Nascosta came pretty darn close to matching that high standard.
