Just in time for Christmas, a tall, dark and handsome Scrooge visits Holly Stanwyck's holiday shop, threatening eviction. But once landlord Ethan Pelligrino sees the single mom's plight, the former soldier becomes her protector instead. Suddenly he's helping her with her struggling business and bonding with her troubled son. A wounded veteran come home to heal, Ethan is no stranger to sorrow. But something about the pretty widow fills him with hope. Will Holly be able to let go of her own painful past to see her future by his side?
"A Season of Love" was an absolutely perfect way to start off the holiday season. The story line was superb and the characters were amazing. Kim Watters is a phenomenal Love Inspired author who I look forward to reading more from. This was a truly wonderful and heartwarming Christian romance that I shall cherish forever.
This is the 1st book I read by Kim Watters. I loved ❤ this book's storyline. This book's storyline was sad 😢. I loved ❤ the Christian theme in this story. I loved ❤ Holly's character. I loved ❤ Ethan's character. I loved ❤ the ending. Awesome job Ms. Watters.
This is a great story to read at Christmas time . . . Ethan comes along at the perfect time!
Holly Stanwyck has been trying to keep up with her business — and her son — since she lost her husband, but she’s being pulled in two different directions. She needs to spend more time at her shop, but her son is getting into trouble. Will she end up losing both?

I’m not going to give awaything else away, but you’re going to love this story. Pick up a copy and find out what happens to Ethan and Holly. . . and his new endeavor.
A Season Of Love by Kim Watters was a very good book. Ethan was in the army. Three people with him died and Ethan lost his fingers on one hand. He is learning to readjust into his home town. Holly has a store inside a building she rents from Ethan. He needs the rent money to start up a dog recuse to help army people. Holly has a troubled 12 year old son. Holly is having a hard time also since she was driving when her husband died in a car accident. There is a lot that goes on in this story. You need to read to learn it all. Can the three of them heal? With God's help.....Yes they can. A very good read.
This is a story of an injured soldier sent home and the guilt that rides him as well as the woman who rents a storefront from him and the guilt that rides her regarding the death of her husband and unborn child. I loved the way Ethan set up a sanctuary for soldier's dogs and used it to help wayward teens.
The story was cute, but I'll admit to being a tad disappointed. That's probably because I adored Kim Watters story "Healing Hearts", and expecting the same feeling when I started reading "A Season of Love." I felt like the ending was too rushed and the dialogue could have used some work. Overall, not bad.
"Watters' characters may prompt the reader to recall that, though grief and loss are part of life, each day is a gift from God. The small-town appeal and inviting characters lead to a satisfying conclusion." RT Book Reviews, rated 4 stars
This story was about the things people blame themselves for when all along it's part of God's plan. "Let go and let God" is the theme for Ethan and Holly.
