Zenina Masters was born in Canada and lives in Canada. She has a regular job and does nothing particularly exciting with her life. She enjoys fishing, silence and the ability to pick and choose friends she can trust. Life is too short to watch your back all the time.

Her writing life is a teeny bit of escapism, she would probably chicken out if confronted by three naked men and looks forward to one day finding out.

Another cute story at the shifter's crossroads. Another soft erotica from Zenina, which several quotable mentions. I chose my favorite.

Mak is tired. One would think, being a creature everyone is drawn to, would provide a satisfying life, but there comes a time when one wants to be special. When he meets the woman who runs the Open Heart Bed and Breakfast at the Crossroads, he is intrigued by the resistance he receives, no one resists the lure of the Unicorn. Dira has left the human world long ago and has no desire to return to a place that demands she hide her very nature. She is satisfied where she is and wishes to live in no other place. When the day the Unicorn shows up, it makes her wonder if, giving everything up for the Crossroads, has been a good plan. Crossroads is a place for paranormal beings to look for their mate. That perfect someone intended for them. There are strong paranormal creatures that work and maintain the Crossroads and the establishments located there. Can one of their own, who has been there from the beginning, find the one person in all the world meant for them? A sweet love story with no undue curve balls. I have fallen into the story and have been left feeling as if I have been on a soothing vacation, and I have been better for it. Each character finds his or her way into the heart of the reader. I loved Dira from the beginning of the series and I am so happy she finally gets her story. Mak is a touch on the arrogant side at first but he comes around.

The story here is really sweet and short. I did think she caved to the whole mate thing rather quickly, she should have made him work for it more!

It was really interesting to hear about the mythical shifters and how very special they are! I hope we see a Phoenix at the Crossroads someday!

A lovely bit of steamy action! There could have been more scenes if the story were longer!

This is a really intriguing series and I am always eager to get the next book and see what comes next!

I would also love a prequel with Tony and Teals story!! I am sure there is much to tell as you get hints of it in this book.

Very cute, likeable characters. Didn't know it was book #4, but explains some missing pieces I had.

Mak (Unicorn) takes the portal to the Crossroads to meet his mate. He stays at the B&B run by Dira (dragon). He likes her, but she turns him down, so he sets is sites on her. He's puzzled by what she is, and finally figures it out, and wins her over. They mate, and go to his family's estate.

A little sci-fi ish, but not enough to turn you off (I'm not a sci-fi book person). I like the different kinds of creatures, and will give the next book a try (Poisoned Pen). Hopefully it's longer and goes into more depth with the characters and story.

Great story

Dira runs the Open Heart B&B at the Crossroads. She has long given up on finding a mate, and puts her energy in helping others find theirs. Mak is a unicorn shifter who is ready to settle down and start a family. He is drawn to Dira at first meeting. Dira shoots him down. Challenge accepted, he has never been turned down before..
Dira and Mak story is light, sweet, and a little steamy.

I had suspected Dira might be a Dragon and obviously this was now confirmed. The story was great with two different mythical creatures finding mates in each other (dragon and unicorn). I am happy for Dira but if she doesn't return to the Crossroads that will make me sad. Another awesome book.

Cute shifter stories with steamy sex and Quick reads. Each book moves into the next revisiting some of the previous characters. I'm not so sure this one was my favorite. But I did love seeing Dira find a mate after giving part of herself to create the crossroads.

Absolutely love this series. Each one is different yet is able to keep me totally enthralled.
