Fifteen years ago Jared Bonatelli had it all. The youngest son of one of the founding families in the Conservatorship of The Dark Order he lived a life you only thought existed in novels and nightmares. He had just graduated from Oxford University and became engaged to his childhood sweetheart when he lost it all in one violent act. The very next day he found himself shipped off to New Orleans with only the money in his pocket and whatever he could fit in one suitcase. Since that night he has suffered reliving his fiancé’s murder repeatedly in his dreams. It isn't until he finds himself summoned back to New York for an emergency meeting of the Conservatorship that the comfortable world he lives in begins to crumble around him.

Alexandra Toscano has been searching for the one assignment that could catapult her journalistic career. When her editor Gene O’Hanlon drops a manila folder in her lap, Alex is immediately skeptical. At first glance the information he hands her seems like a publicity piece that is till she comes across an article he wrote some fifteen years ago about Vampires murdering a young woman in Central Park. She is ready to laugh it off as a work of fiction until he points out he was an eyewitness to the whole thing. But that wasn’t all. The girl’s boyfriend was a member of a prominent Italian family who vanished the very next day.

Now as Alex begins to dig deeper into Jared’s life she begins to question her own past. Could the answer she seeks be found in the glowing eyes of the one person she is sworn to expose? Or will they both find themselves torn apart by a world Beyond the Sun?

Favorite Line(s) "You would throw all this away for those beasts, wouldn't you"? He chuckled, pulling her to him, his arms encircling her waist. "Not for them, But for you, always."

I know no one can understand how I love each and every book I post for review but, I REALLY DO. Beyond the Sun had me wanting to laugh at Lancelot, watch Alex and Jared argue, made me itch to smack Absinthe across her snarling face, and feel the love Zephyr felt at the end of this book.(DON'T want to give it away)
The book was and wasn't like all my favorite paranormal reads. It was like my favourites by having a great love story and a vampire that only cared about power but, then it wasn't like my favourites by having a vampire king, a oracle who is so loving, a conservator, and has The Dark Order.
I am counting the days until I find out what this author has next for us, you want to read this book!

I was given this book by author for an honest review. (Girls Heart Books)

I received an ARC copy to review along with a note saying that from that point, I got to have Jared all to myself. Now this was most likely just meant as a joke, but once I started reading after work one night, I simply could not cast Jared aside and allow him to finish his story another day. I stayed up for hours, without really even realizing how late it truly was until I finished the final page, lost in this amazing story!

I read a fair amount of paranormal, but this one captured me. Think of an adult version of The Mortal Instruments, but better and even more realistic, and that is Beyond the Sun. So you have vampires, half-breeds, werewolves, etc. ruled by a secret society while existing alongside the human race. But of course, the humans are absolutely oblivious to their existence.

Now, Jared (swoon) is part of the society sworn to keeping the paranormal existence hidden from the humans, and is devoted to this duty. But he is still a man, and falls in love with Giovanna, only to have her be brutally torn from his life by some of the very creatures that he is sworn to keep secret. While he believes that the attack goes unnoticed by humanity, he still spends years away from the city, his family, and everything that he knows so as not to draw any attention. But when he returns after fifteen years, a reporter named Alex catches his eye and begins to tug at the strings of his heart. Can Alex stay objective and write her expose about Jared, or will she fall for him?

Book provided by author in exchange for honest review.

When I finished this book, I immediately wanted to write my review and was ready to give a 5-star rating, but once I came down from the high after reading, it dawned on me that there were a few issues that weren't resolved, hence my 4-star rating.

What I like about this book:

This is a very enjoyable story, it grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go. It's got all the elements of a good story: deceit, malice, major family issues, questionable parentage, murder, and the paranormal/supernatural world.

What could make this better:

An explanation about what the Conversatorship is and what it is they do.
An explanation about why the Goddess Semiramis got it in with the King.
Whatever happened with G?
What the hell is up with Alex's boss Gene?
More of a romantic build between Alex and Jared.

Overall this is a very good read and I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series.

In her debut novel Sandi Bischoff draws you into a unique world of all things supernatural. Two mythical worlds are entwined quite nicely. Beyond the Sun is a great play on vampires and lycans, as well as Athurian Legend. This novel is full of rising passion, mystery and secrets, and how it end... well I guess you need to read to find out. Beyond the Sun will wet your appetite and leave you hungry for more.

I was provided with a copy of this book by the Author for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat with the twists and turns that weren’t even anticipated never mind expected. Picture this; you’re happily reading along engrossed in the story and what’s happening, then:

BAM! Whoa what the……. When did…… Why did……… WHOA seriously?!

There was quite a few of those in this book. Think I might be suffering from literary whiplash after this. Holy Moly Batwoman.

The book sets the stage really well for the sequels and leaves you wanting more but not in a frustrated kind of way. I love the way there is a storyline within a story line in this book. Although you are left hanging, you’re not left hanging in the middle of an explosive storyline. The ‘book’ itself is completed and the story ‘it’ wants to tell.

The characters are well defined and you find yourself empathising with them and being dragged along for the ride. I love the way the story is told from different points of view which gives you a deeper understanding of what’s going on in the story. The main characters are Jared and Alex as you can see from the blurb. Jared went through the horror of losing the love of his life in a violent act and has never got over it. Fast forward 15 years and Jared meet Alex……… ‘Hi Jared’, ‘hey Alex’. They meet one night at a charity gala and are unexpectedly drawn to one another. The story continues from here. There are a few other characters who have their voices heard which I love!

If you are looking for a sexy read then this is not the book for you. This is a clean, suspense filled, paranormal romantic read, that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat.

I do have one issue with the book and that is the blurb. The blurb gives you a look into the background of Jared and you kind of expect to find more on the background in the book. There is no background in the except for the violent act that tore Jared’s world apart. There is no mention of Oxford University or how he and his fiancé met. I kind of feel that if you are not going to put that in the book then it shouldn’t really be in the blurb, because I was expecting to read about this aspect of Jared’s life.

This was a fantastic debut book. I always love finding new paranormal authors because it is my favorite genre and this one didn't disappoint.

I love how the paranormal aspect is gradually introduced. It really builds the tension in the story and keeps the reader guessing. There is a good deal of suspense in the story, which I really liked. There's also romance, but the romance is not the main focus of the story, which I also really liked. The romance takes the back burner to the paranormal. I won't give away what types of paranormal creatures were featured in the story, but there's a bit of everything. When adding a lot of different creatures it's always a hazard of it being too much, but I didn't feel that way with this one. I loved seeing the interaction between all the different creatures. Especially Lance and Zephyr. Those two are hilarious.

There is a great deal of world and character building. I loved all the characters that we got to meet in Beyond the Sun and I hope we get to see them again soon.

The writing and the interesting 'world' the story is in really sets this novel apart from others. It flowed nicely.

I think I would have given this book 5 stars if the relationship between Alex and Jared had been a little bit stronger. I like that they weren't instantly in love, but it seemed like there was something lacking on that front.

I would recommend this to anyone that likes new and exciting paranormal stories with a bit of romance. I look forward to reading more in this series!

This review is based on my opinion and my opinion alone. I won't summarize this book, that is what the synopsis is for. :) This is just how I feel about the book.

I love vampires. Love them and will never get enough of them, so any spin on the brooding group of sexy undead is interesting to me. This book took me a while to read, NOT because it was boring or bad, but because I would keep getting busy with life, BUT I was always wondering what was going to happen next for Jared and Alex in the book when I picked it up again. And I was not let down.

What would you do if the group you were sworn to help took away the one thing you loved most?

Jared is faced with this in the book and as we follow him through his life we learn how brave and beautiful this man is.

This book is well written and the characters are believable and I enjoyed reading about them. Sandra has a way with the pen/keyboard that keeps you captivated and eager to turn the page. I am finding that indie published authors are kicking butt with awesome clean writing and creative minds.

The first few pages drew me in and even though I knew what was going to happen next with Giovanna and Jared, I couldn't stop reading until it happened and then, I knew that I'd been given a gem of a book to read. I will admit, the cover drew me in at first, but then the synopsis did as well. When presented with the opportunity to read this book I jumped at it. To me, this is a 4.5 star book.

This book was given to me to review during its book tour with Girls Heart Books.

***I received this book in exchange for an honest review, Lovers of Paranormal.***

I really really liked it.

It took me a while to really get into this book. In the beginning I had a little trouble connecting but when Jared got hit with that dart, from that scene on, I became engrossed into the story.

I loved Jared's friends, Lance, Zephyr and Sam. It was so fitting how each of these characters stories played out.

Although I did struggle with the flow sometimes with the story (sometimes it felt like it skipped around or things were left out) I strangely didn't mind it much because the good parts were REALLY good. Sandra Bischoff knew just the right times to make things happen, so my usual pet peeves didn't matter because the plot/emotions/feelings were great.

I went from feeling iffy about reading this series, to eagerly picking up the second book, which thankfully I had readily available.

Good stuff, jumping into the second book!

I loved it Jared is wonderful as a tortured man who doesn't really know who he is or where he fits in to life, especially after the death of his fiancé.
Alex a reporter sent to do a story on the tortured millionaire, but there is so much more to this story that Alex ever thought possible.

Alex is gorgeous, sassy, stubborn and just an awesome character.

Sam a mother, nurturer and goddess with secrets, I love the way Sam always knows just what Jared needs.

Lance the 'I'm not a dog' shifter lol this guy cracked me up a lot in this story the great bantering between Lance, Jared and Zephyr gave a great humorous, lightheartedness to offset the sometimes violent supernatural world in which they live.
I really love how Alex came into all of their lives like she had always been there. Alex and Jared are perfect together.

I received this book in return for an honest review (LoP)

This book was so good. Everything flowed the way it should and I didn't have any questions while I was reading. Some of the plot twists were unexpected which I like to see in the Vampire genre. There are so many Vampire books out there, it is hard to surprise people anymore. I thought that it was such a sweet story. A man who loses his love is finally able to fall in love again. This is one of those books that you could easily read again. I can't wait to read more in this series.

Beyond The Sun by Sandra Bischoff was a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed. This book will be one that remains on my shelf for re-reading in the future.
Her characters were strong, the plot thick and you found yourself thinking about the characters even after the story was over.
I look forward to more books from Ms. Bischoff.

I don't listen to audio books often but I liked the sound of this and the voice wasn't too bad so I gave it a shot.

I really enjoyed the plot. It was interesting and fresh but it was easy to keep up with.

I did like Jared, he was this total alpha type character and I loved it. The secondary characters weren't too bad, but I found it hard to connect with most of them. Maybe it was because I listened to the audiobook and didn't read it..... I'm not sure

Now the plot is what really drew me in. It was different but the way the author wrote it, I was able to picture it and found my self really liking it.

Overall, I enjoyed it, but not being able to connect with the characters made it hard for me to love the story. I do plan on reading more from the author in the future. 3.5 stars.

I mostly skimmed through this, as none of the characters drew me in. Most of them seemed exaggerated and did not behave at all like their supposed age. Purely evil villains are not my thing and the insta love / fated romance did not help either. A plus is the attempt at humor, at least the author does not take the book too seriously.

Good

This dark fantasy is brimming with adventure and romance. The characters were likeable and the plot intense. The steam level was about a three with the "f" word appearing at times. Overall it was a good story.

Good start to a PNR series. I listened to this one on Audible and the narrator was pretty good with her depiction of characters and voices. Jared watched the woman he was in love with be murdered 15 years ago and left New York for good because he was so distraught. He's returned years later to perform his job with the Conservativeship. This is where he meets Alex, who is a news reporter sent to expose Jared. But little do either of them know that they are harboring a dark secret within themselves. Jared's half sister Absinthe refuses to accept Jared and wants to rule their house so she's out to kill Jared any way she can. Finally when Alex and Jared begin to accept their feelings for one another, the past comes back to take it all away. There was a few areas that seemed a little quick or skipped, but otherwise, this is a good PNR. I hope to get to the other books in the series.

I was lucky enough to receive and ARC for a review.
Contains Spoilers.

This book took me by surprise. I was thinking its just another vampire book, don't get me wrong, I love vampire books but sometimes they all seem to be about the same thing... This one was totally different and sooo good... I want more and at the end of the book is the preview to the next book.

So, this book starts off with Jared Bonatelli and his fiancé Giovanna. They just got engaged over dinner and they are going for a carriage ride thru central park. (swoon!!) As they are talking, they are suddenly attacked. Giovanna was killed (or was she) and they came after him.

Then it jumps to 15yrs in the future. Jared wakes up in a panic. Sweat all over and his legs entwined in the sheets. He grabbed his prescription of Xanax and realizes he is out... Its been 15yrs since he has been home. After all that happened with Giovanna the Conservatorship sent him to New Orleans to hide out.

Then we go to Alex. who is a reporter at a local paper. She just got handed this assignment that she thought was just one big cruel sick joke... She went in to confront her boss. Turns out the assignment is an expose on Jared Bonatelli and how his girlfriend/fiance was murdered by Vampires 15 yrs prior. After looking into the file, she sees that her boss was the original eye witness and saw the whole thing. Well the Conservatorship being what it is, It protects all the supernatural. So they covered up the attack and made Gene O'Hanlon look like he was off his rocker. Made him a laughing stock. He made it to where Alex was going to the black tie benefit that night to make initial contact with Jared.

Alex made it to the benefit and saw Jared come in... she kept her eye on him. Jared feeling that someone was watching, looked up right at where she was standing. Alex effectively moved just in time to not get seen ran right into the Princess of Vampires, Absinthe. After an altercation between them, Alex hears a very manly voice behind her. She turns around and sees the most beautiful blue eyes she has ever seen, Jared. They talk and he realizes that unlike most people in his life he feels like he can talk to her. They chat for a while and she realizes it gets late and she has to go. She gives him her card so he can call her for coffee.

After the benefit, Jared decides to go by the cemetery where Giovanna is buried. Hes at her grave and crying about how he misses her and loved her with all his being. He feels like there is someone else in the graveyard with him. After calling out and no answer he decides to leave. Then we find out Absinthe was in the graveyard hiding with her "pet" showing her that it was all a facade and that he doesn't really miss his lost love. That while he was gone he got over that love and moved on.

Jared and his best friend, shifter Lance go to the Conservatorship meeting. They find out the reason Jared was summoned back from New Orleans was cause his dad, the head of the Conservatorship would like to retire and have Jared take over. Jared's older brother Tony, who has always had his back, gets pissed. He thinks its his right to be the head of the Dark Order, not Jared. He said Jared wasn't even blood, how could he become the head of the Order? Jared and Tony get into fisticuffs and Jared beats Tony down. After Lance pulled Jared off his so-called brother, they left and went to the Final Resting Place, a bar that caters to the supernatural. Jared invited Alex to join them.

After they find out that Giovanna didn't die in the park 15yrs prior, Jared gets drugged and Lance and Alex take him back to Alex's apartment. After sleeping it off, he gets up the next morning and sees Alex at the table on her laptop. Alex decides to have full disclosure with him and tells him that she was assigned to expose him and all his secrets... Jared knowing that was going on, said some hurtful things to Alex. She ran to her room and locked the door asking him to leave.

So a lot more happens in this book that if I keep going I will give away everything and I can't do that... Then whats the point of you reading it??? Anyhow... this book was phenomenally written and I loved every single word... I laughed and cried and felt pain as if it were me in that book. I love when a book can fully hit me emotionally. I feel what the characters are feeling. If you like books where you are deep and entrenched into the characters, this book is for you!!

I received a copy of this audiobook for an honest review. I have to say this story was a great one. I loved all the characters. I thought Jared was a great hero. He has gone through so much in the last 15 years of his life. Whole listen to this I can honestly say that I thought I knew what would happen and then I was wrong. I love a story that can keep my attention.

The villain has some tie to Jared that you would not expect. The who entire book seems to have everyone connected in some way or another.

My only with this story is that the transitions to me were off. It went from Jared being found injured to being a month passed. it did not seem smooth. I would have like if the story flowed more smoothly. Other then that I really loved this story. I hope book 2 gets an audiobook. I want to know what happens next.

My first impressions while reading this book- I thought it was like a soap opera. Nothing is as you think. That’s all I am saying on that.

My favorite parts- Lance! He is the side kick. I love his antics and humor. I so could see him in action. He is a werewolf and I couldn’t get enough of him.

About evil- Absinthe, the daughter of the King of the Dark Order (Vampires) is pure evil. The description of her in the book had me seeing her with a seductive way with her fingernails on anyone’s skin she despised as she toyed with them. It gave me the chills. She gets around and around and around. She’s a ho! She has people as pets that do her bidding.

There were others you thought you trusted, but oh my gosh, as it turns out, you can’t trust anyone.

The story- Sorry, I just had to get the other stuff off my chest first. This story has romance, lots of action, twists and turns you don’t see coming, and tender moments that you wouldn’t have guessed would happen. And once again, it leaves lots of unresolved stuff that we would just have to wait to get the next book to read. I hope there is a story about Lance (giggle)!

This story is mainly about Jared and Alex. Both supposedly human, but some things don’t add up about them. Hmmm... Anyway, Alex is a reporter and meets Jared at a gala at the Museum of Natural History for a story she is forced to do. She meets him by fainting in his arms. SO embarrassing! Anyway, he takes her in a room partitioned off, so she could recover and in that room is a huge dragon. She knows it is real and not some model but she won’t admit to it. Then, she just keeps getting deeper and deeper into the supernatural world. They both find a connection to each other but don’t understand it. Let the romance begin. Things of course, don’t go as smoothly as it should be considering she is talking about a supernatural world all around her, that’s a lot for anyone to take in.

But Abs has other plans. She wants everything and is evil incarnate. She will stop at nothing to get the throne and whatever play thing she wants as well as kill whomever she wants too. The plot gets thicker and thicker with the passing of the pages.

What I didn't like- I wish we could see the romance develop a little more slowly. It felt a little rushed for me.

I didn’t really understand the secret society. I wish I could have learned more about that.

And I didn’t like Abs. But I am not supposed to like her! Maybe you like evil witches with a B, not me.

Questions – Does Alex write a story and expose the supernatural world? What will Abs do next? There is another turn at the very end that I didn’t see coming and I am dying to know more about it!

Final thoughts- I feel like I can’t say much about what happens because there are so many twists and turns. I like that in a book, especially when you don’t see it coming. If you like humor, twists and turns, vamps, werewolves and dragons, bickering families, romance and a little bit or sorrow you will like this book.

4.5 stars for me! I received this book from the author for a review. These opinions are my own.

This book kicks off with action. There's no sugar coating from this author, fangs, guns, daggers, and death greet you from page one. Jade is our main character, driven by what I can only think is revenge. He hates vampires, and yet hes has some for friends, quite a conundrum! The other sub main character is Alex, a reporter who doesn't believe a word of the story her boss told her about Jared and is pissed that she's been sent on the story.
This author did her work when it came to this book, from how vampires function to Jared's training style it's all precise and correct. On a side note, the sword breakers under the chapter headers are epic!
This book will keep the reader on its toes, especially once Absinthe is introduced to the mix. That's one princess with an attitude the reader will love to hate.
I have to say the writing style is very good. Either this author knows her stuff or her editor is that good. I found not one error in the work and even as a pdf it's set up beautifully. The type is formatted perfectly and thus the story just runs in a continual flow as it should.
I love how the events of the story flow and come together in a very believable way. From love to betrayal to outright murder everything makes sense. The reader knows why everything happens and while some things may not be agreed with it's understood on why it happens as it does.
I give this book 5 of 5 paws

Lola Kyle Reviews::(I was given a free copy of this book, from the author, for my honest review. Beyond The Sun is a graphic novel that could be considered New Adult written by Author Sandra Bischoff.) Okay, now that we have gotten the formalities out of the way, let's dig in.

Jared Bonatelli is rich, he's handsome, has a heart of gold and he fights vampires. Yes you read it, Vampires! Keep in mind, he's no rogue vigilante like Buffy or what's that other show about people that kill vampires again???. (drawing a blank here people.) lol. He's a part of the Dark Order. (From what I've gathered, it's an organization dating back generations that handles supernatural deaths and events and such so that the public doesn't find out and mass pandemonium won’t ensue) Anyway... After losing his fiancee to a gruesome attack by vampires, Jared was sent to New Orleans for 15 years. Seeing it as their way to exile him, he isn't happy. After his extended hiatus, his return to the New York populace has drawn unwanted attention from both supernatural and human entities. (This can't be good right?)

Cue to Alexandra Toscano; A New York journalist who is tasked with writing an expose on the ever so popular Jared Bonatelli. After being thrusted into his world she is forced to retain her grip on her sanity. Whilst falling in love with the ever so irresistible, boy next door/vampire hunter. (Good luck with that Alex)

Though this book has been a slow cooker, giving just enough heat to keep the reader enthralled and simmering with curiosity as to what happens next. It is not by any means lacking in the adventure and plot twist department. In my opinion, this has been like putting a kettle on the fire. Coupled with a very well selected mix of herbs and spices to await that whistle that heralds the climax that has been brewing upon reading that first line. (Those of you who read it will know why I used tea.) Though I regret to say this... Where was the Medieval adventure?! I was expecting a bit more than a tryst with the first knight. Where are the wenches, stocks and chamber pots?! Okay, okay,. maybe not the chamber pots, but you get it. This book overall was a well written book. It delivers a little bit of everything one needs in life. A little laughter, a little romance, a lot of vampires (some moody ones at that, prone to murdering someone lol) and sexual tension. No way I could leave that out. Be a bit adventurous and pick up your copy today. Free on kindle unlimited.

It has been a long time since I have read an adult book. Young Adult books have had a hold on me but when I first saw the cover of Beyond the Sun I knew I had to break my unofficial break from adult tales and give this book a whirl.

I instantly fell in love with Jared from page one.He was strong, protective, loyal, faithful and he was damaged. That's just the type of book boyfriend I can go for. Okay besides Jared kidnapping my heart with his wounded little soul the story also grabbed me. I never wanted to stop reading. Seriously, who needs to eat?

In paranormal romance novels normally the heroines fall into two categories: TSTL and in need of a ball check. Alex was neither. I was so relieved. Don't get me wrong I did have a few grievances with the chick. One being she was ultimately going to be the one to end up with my book boyfriend. (Yes that is a silly reason to dislike a heroine but don't you dare judge me.) Okay next bone to pick with Alex is, she is a journalist and wasn't chomping at the bit for this story her boss was handing to her. I know journalist, I was one and I would have been loving the idea of this. As silly as I may think it was it has teeth to it, Also her instant biased on a group of people just because the are wealthy was very annoying. Seriously? What if he did the same because she was poor, he'd be a huge jerk but it is okay for her to do it? I just find prejudices annoying.

Besides those small things, the story was wicked solid. I was enthralled. The other characters were also very cool. I was drawn into the secondary characters. I really enjoyed reading it and look forward to reading more from Sandra Bischoff.

Jem's review.

Beyond the Sun—a compelling and exciting read with twists and turns throughout that keep you guessing all the way up to the last page.

Handsome millionaire, Jared Bonatelli, has been in exile for the past 15 years since his fiancée, Giovanna, was brutally attached by vampires. He is a troubled soul who is riddled by guilt and grief, believing that he was the cause of his fiancée's death. The only reason he is back is because the conservatorship (the secret order which has been put in place to make sure vampires and humans can live in peace among one another) has commanded it.

This is until he meets headstrong journalist, Alex Toscano. She immediately catches his eye, and there is an instant attraction between the two of them. He is strong, confident, charming, and mysterious, which makes her want him more.

There is something supernatural that connects Alex and Jared, and they need to work out what it is in time to stop the evil Absinthe from getting her wish and killing them both.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It had me glued from the beginning, and I think it's a perfect start for any young adult reader looking to take the next step. It had it's sexy moments—especially between the vampires—as well as a sweet love story at the heart of the book which will suit anyone who enjoys a good romance.

You all need to read Beyond the Sun. It is book one in 'The Dark Order of the Dragon Series' and I believe the best is yet to come.

This book ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the reader wanting more...

Received free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Beyond the Sun is a wonderfully written vampire story. Author Sandi Bischoff did an amazing job of creating these characters and a mysterious new world. This book was riveting from the beginning. I had a difficult time putting it down. This is the first book of Sandi's that I have read, but I can promise it won't be the last.

Beyond the Sun has a wonderful plot. There is mystery, devastation, and a hint of romance to keep the readers invested. I loved the plot of the story. Jared is such a wonderful character and I think Sandi did a wonderful job by starting out his story with a heartbreaking tale. It shows that he has a lot of pain in his past and that he has a long way to go before he is no longer broken, if ever. Jared was the character I was most looking forward to seeing his development. I was not disappointed.

There were only one part of this book that was not my favorite. This story is told from several different points of views. While I can understand that is did add to the story, it also confused me sometimes. With that being said, it wasn't enough to ruin the story for me. It was more of a personal preference rather than a hindrance to the story.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It had a little bit of everything I like in novels. Love, mystery, heartbreak, and even humor. I would recommend this book to my friends, especially the ones who like vampire novels. Sandi Bichoff did an amazing job with her writing and I cannot wait to read more from her. Amazing novel!
