Semara, Ryder and Raeth have been in the rebel ship for 6 months fleeing for an alliance with the European council. Semara wants to discover the truth about her past and to learn more about her gifts. But the trio do not know who to trust and they do not know who will actually help them and not turn them in.

Pendulum was the enjoyable second book in the Neumarian Chronicles, however, I did not find it as captivating as the first book. This book was well written with twists, action and romance.

Semara is less helpless is this book and is learning more about who she is without the influence of the queen and to figure out who to trust. I liked how Raeth was less timid and I enjoyed her romance with Penton with his devotion and smarts. However, Ryder did not inspire me much in this book.

I look forward to reading the next book, Balance as it has a cliff-hanger ending. I would recommend Pendulum to fans of the first book Escapement.

I just could not put this book down. This story is very well developed and there are so many twists and turns, you are not sure who to trust and who is on who's side. I love stories that keep you wondering what will happen and not just a "canned plot". I was shocked by some things and relieved to find answers to questions brought up by the first two books.

Ms. Knight paints the scenes so well you feel like you are there watching them, especially the battle scenes. This book would make a great movie. There is romance in the story also but it is not over done or unrealistic. But now I have to wait to find out what is going to happen with Semara and Ryder--I really hate waiting, so little patience. But I am sure the wait will be well worth it if the next book is half as good as this.

My Comments
This story takes place aboard the Rebellion Ship, Freedom, two months after Semara and her friends have been rescued from Acadia Beach. Ryder, Raeth, Bendar and Penton all have jobs as well as Semara. Semara’s job on the bridge is to track, target, and obliterate the enemy. Dred was badly injured at the end of Escapement and remains in a coma when Pendulum begins.

Half of the story takes place on Freedom underwater as Semara works to get more answers in order to figure out her past. She also faces possible imprisonment and execution from the Resistance once they reach headquarters if she doesn’t succeed in finding answers from her memories, YIKES! It turns out that the Resistance on this ship doesn’t believe in the Triune, doubts Semara’s allegiance, suspects her of being a spy or weapon for the evil Queen Mandesa, and is forcing her to come up alternative plans with her friends. Much of the story also takes place on land, but it was fun reading how Semara and Raeth team up to navigate the ships.

In a way this book is much more dangerous than the previous one because in Escapement, these teens knew from the first danger what they were headed into and what they were about to face. There were a few unexpected problems that came up, but they were fully aware of what they were up against. In Pendulum, they believe they can relax and work with the Resistance into getting answers to stop the Queen and her diabolical plans, but not everyone they work with can be trusted. Semara is determined to win this war with her friends, but there are traitors among them even now when they believed help would finally be in their favor.

In this book they’re all together and a real family for Semara; Ryder, Raeth, Bendar and Penton….and they must rescue Dred.

There are a few curse words in the story, but they don’t make the story any less enjoyable. Semara is the one to utter one of these profanities so that surprised me, but I understood why she said it. Semara makes a comment in Pendulum more than once that leads me to believe she is losing hope and doesn’t truly believe the war will ever end. However, no matter how dire things become in this sequel I believe there is always hope.

Semara finds out who her real parents are and which memories are real (her mind has been tampered with WAY too much, but most of it was to control her, some of it was to protect her). This revelation had me utterly surprised, but then it was a relief to discover this about Semara.

Not comfortable with how physical Semara and Ryder are becoming in this book, but glad to see they’re in love and secure with one another as Semara trains with Captain Gordan and Ryder trains with Mart (female first officer that answers to Gordon). They have separate sleeping quarters, but their restraint is lessening. Only Ryder’s touch can calm her down as the Captain works on deprogramming her (sort of like hypnosis to find memories that can give secrets to defeating the queen—this process traumatizes Semara).

Ryder is much more of a hero in this story now that him and Semara are in love. He comes to her defense more than once, REFUSES to leave her side or he WILL take down guards, comforts her when she shows ANY signs of stress or emotional turbulence, and remains in tune with her needs (won’t let her skip a meal). He even professes his feelings for her publicly more than once and makes it clear he’ll protect her at all costs. Semara is reunited with a family member in this book and it’s not a happy reunion at all. Ryder is hoping she’ll rebuild a relationship with this person, but Semara has a lot of anger and feels abandoned so she’s not willing to forgive at first. However, there’s one scene where Ryder confronts this person and I was amazed by his maturity/assessment of the situation. He’s still a flawed man, but he has grown remarkably well and only wants what’s best for Semara. Penton and Dred are also heroes and I was grateful for these men in Pendulum.

Maggie is missed in this book, both by the characters and myself :)

My favorite scene is when Semara is meeting up with everyone to escape Freedom before it docks and as she’s walking her other friends join her one at a time at every turn until they’re all together again. I could see this as a movie as they joined together of one accord knowing what has to happen next.

I LOOOOOVE the cover of this book, all the blue mist mixed in with the scenery! However, I learned what the blue mist is in the story and my goodness….that stuff is terrible!!

Bendar has a much bigger role in this story and I truly loved him the most. No one has been there for Semara like he has been, loved her, protected her, and been a part of her the way he has. He is considered a “substitute father” or “surrogate father” to her and I completely agree with that assessment. He truly enhances the story as much as Ryder does, but with such innocence and humor.

There is one mission with the purpose of TWO rescues in Pendulum that add a twist to the story and lead into the last book of the series, Balance. After all Semara has been through with her friends, will they be able to pull off this impossible task or will it become yet another trap that leads to their doom?

It’s REALLY difficult to keep the heart of the story in any sequel, but Knight manages to keep the action going and the reader never stops caring for these beloved characters. I didn’t agree with certain elements in this story, but I love reading about Semara’s journey and how she continues to grow. She learns extremely important new revelations in Pendulum that are crucial to the rest of the plot and hints to the Queen’s demise sure to come in Balance, the end of the series. I didn’t like that Semara has doubts about her future in this book, but with all she’s been through she can’t be blamed for that. She still has so much healing and closure to get, but I was very satisfied with how much she learned in Pendulum. I learned the meaning of the title in the middle of the book and it made the story even more interesting to me.

Semara, Ryder, Raeth, Bendar, Penton, Dred, and Harrison have MUCH to overcome in this incredible sequel including deadly blue mist, traitors and more deception, Dred’s being in a coma (this is not the kind of guy that wants to be asleep when fighting is needed), bypassing tricks and deadly obstacles from Queen Mandesa, zombies and creatures who are hungry for human flesh, ALL the while standing by as Semara continues to learn how to control her power never knowing who to trust and how much to reveal. There are also several touching moments in this book that seriously made me love the story even more. Go Semara!!

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.
Firstly I would like to thank Ciara Knight, author of Pendulum, for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this awesome book of hers.
In this second instalment we are taken back into the dreadful and dangerous journey of Semara and Ryder where they are within a submarine which is headed towards Europe. Semara is learning more and more about her gifts and she is trying her best to control it. The team along with Raeth navigates through dark and dangerous waters which they often found to be mined! Yes, you heard me right, guys. They work as a team and continue their quest to join the rebellion but soon someone close to them, their ally with turn against them and there is the super evil Queen who has her own malicious plans and is approaching Semara. Loyalties will be tested, betrayals will wrench hearts, dangers will overcome confidence and you’ll be left breathless at the end with a huge cliff-hanger which will make you want more of it.
This sequel is totally rocking! With butt-kicking action, heart stopping suspense, pulse raising mysteries, shocking revelations, unpredictable twists and turns and dangers lurking on every corner this story will take you on a whirlwind journey where you’ll share each and every emotions that the characters suffer and become a part of the world that the author created.
The characterization is superb and I’m really happy to watch Semara develop throughout the story and we have a fully flourished Raeth who stole the show for me. The writing style breathed life and magic into the story and took the story into a different world. Special touch of romance and just the correct amount of humorous touch made this an intriguing read.
If you haven’t started this series then I’ll surely recommend you this book but don’t forget to go through Escapement (book 1) before you start Pendulum so that you can enjoy every bit of this thrilling and enticing read. Happy reading folks!

I still love this series after reading the second book and I can’t wait to dive into the third book. Since I have been introduced to steampunk I have found that I really enjoy it and it is fast becoming one of my favorite genres. This series is also one of my favorites as well.

The world that this story takes place in is in the middle of a war. The author has continuously written this world so well that the minute you start reading it you are immersed in it. While I am sure I would not want to visit (mainly because I do not have the awesome Neumarian powers) I still love to read about this world and the characters that she has written.

The characters in this story continue from the first book as well as some newer characters are introduced. Semara and Ryder are the best together even though due to the war their love story takes more of a back seat since they don’t get to spend much one on one time in this book. We also see the beginning of a new romance in this story involving Raeth. The author introduces another main player into the story although we have known of the possible existence of this person for a while. Semara has some setbacks through this story as she struggles with learning what all has been done to her between the queen and her father. But as always Semara perceivers and keeps on going while having to shove personal baggage to the back burner just to stay alive.

The ending of this story leaves us with another cliffhanger of the sort that you definitely want to keep reading. Like always that author really knows how to leave a book to be continued without frustrating the reader to no end. I will definitely continue reading this series and I recommend anyone who likes steampunk or who is interested in reading it to check this book out.

This book begins where the last one left off. So, beware that it is NOT a standalone!

In this installment, Semara, Raeth, and Ryder are journeying towards the ENR headquarters in hopes that they can join the rebellion against Semara's mother, the Queen. As all three learn to harness their gifts together in the true fashion of the Triune, they discover lies, treachery, and hope. The goal is to survive long enough to best the Queen and save those persecuted under her rule. Semara and Ryder must navigate their relationship, and Raeth finds love in the form of Penton, an inventive weapons afficiona

We begin in the middle of the story arc, so it's important to remember what has been going on up until this point. While I did thoroughly enjoy the story, I felt that Weighted and Escapement were just incredible. Part of my feelings had to do with the amount of information imparted to the reader. Semara discovers so much about her history, her family, and her future. At times, it felt like a bit of an information dump. That said, there are great action scenes and the descriptions of this world are lovely. I could envision the mist, the Wasters, and the outfits clearly as I read. Book 3, Balance, will be out shortly and I have high hopes for the conclusion to this series.

I waited a while after downloading pendulum to read it. Over 3 months to be exact. Escapement which is book one was still to fresh in my mind. I'm glad I waited for the sake of getting to relieve some of the action scenes & memories that are revealed in book 2. Ryder & Semara of course are my favorite characters as well as Bendar. I enjoy all the others but the main three listed just make the book all worth it. Bendar has a spunkiness about him that I can't get enough of. Kinda reminds me of the guy from the hobbit movie. Which believe it or not I've never seen. lol I've only seen previews & movie trailers. :-) Ciara Knight makes her characters come to life in a unique way. I don't think I've ever read characters like this & how she portrays them within the pages of a book is pure magic. If u enjoy reading steampunk & into the future type books by all means purchase escapement & pendulum.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Reasons this book got 4 stars:
- It had an exciting dystopian plot that was shockingly very realistic
- It had just the right amount of mushiness. Enough romance to make you go 'aww' but not throw up - literally a perfect balance
- LOVED the characters, they were executed very well, and had believable dialogue
- I was able to relate to the characters, and emotion was put across very well

Reasons this book didn't get 5 stars:
- The ending. Personally, I felt that it was too abrupt, and could easily have just been a longer novel as it was not even that long.
- Just no overall oomph, although that may have simply been because the story ended just when it had climaxed...

Overall, I would recommend it as it was very interesting and is totally worth reading although the ending disappointed me.

This book was awesome! Anyone who starts this book should expect to spend the whole day or stay up all night to finish it. It's the second book in this series and so many secrets come out in this book and explains a lot that wasn't covered in the first. The relationships in this book develop so much and it's an easy book to follow. The ending will leave you dying for more. If you didn't read the first book in the series Escapement I suggest you do. This is a don't miss series. I would definitely recommend this book.

Ah!! Ciara Knight has captured our hearts once again with the second book in the series. You won't want to put this down after you start. Semara, Ryder and Raeth are joined by Penton (love this addition) as they journey not only physically to Middle Europe, but emotionally through love, joy, anger, and confusion. The love story between Semara and Ryder (be still my heart!) is amazing. Action, adventure, and emotional heartstrings are tugged during this read. I can't say enough great things about this book--or this series.

I loved this book! This book takes you through the journey of Ryder and Semara as they try to reach and join the rebellion. IN book two, secrets are revealed, allies turned enemies and Ryder and Semara fall more in love. Ciara does a wonderful job of creating a vivid world you love to get lost in. I highly recommend this book, as well as Escapement (book one). My only disappointment is having to wait for the next book. The end of Pendulum will leave you begging for more!

DO NOT READ AHEAD if you've not read book one yet, as there are spoilers for that book within this review.

Semara, Raeth, and Ryder are the Triune, their coming foretold in a prophecy. When their powers combine they are virtually unstoppable, and despite their youth they are looked to as the saviors of all those that live under the tyranny of Queen Mandessa Valderak and Council, Neumarians and humans alike.

Having been rescued at the coast during a battle with the Queen and her forces, the small, tight-knit group are now on board the Freedom, making their way towards the UE leaders in order to join forces with them to eradicate the Queen and the corrupt Councils from the face of the Earth. During their lengthy undersea journey Semara, Ryder, Raeth, Penton, and Bendar become even closer as they get to know one another outside of immediate life threatening situations. Each of them works in some capacity on the vessel, with the exception of Dred, who is being kept in an induced coma due to the extensive injuries he sustained.

Captain Gordon and his first mate Mart run the Freedom, but make sure to put the extra hands to use. When not working her shift on the Bridge Captian Gordon works with Semara to regress her memories, as he believes she holds the key to defeating the Queen locked somewhere inside her head. Unfortunately it would seem that another Neumarian may have put a block on her memories, making accessing them next to impossible, and certainly very dangerous. One of the risks comes when she is regressed, for if she becomes agitated or upset she could easily kill them all by accidentally releasing her powers and melting the ship. As they near the UE Captain Gordon presses her harder for something concrete to help win the war; though he has never been unkind to her, the more they work together the less she trusts him. However she can't quite put her finger on what is causing her growing sense of unease - though apparently she isn't the only one who feels that way.

Meanwhile Semara learns that Dred is being kept in the coma at first mate Mart's command. Dr. Thornton is not allowed to see anyone, so he hasn't been able to tell anyone about Mart's command, or her plan to have Dred brought to the Tower upon docking, for the charge of treason. Dr. Thornton is against this plan, but until Semara showed up had no hope of defeating it. A plan is put into action, and the friends are forced to put not only Dred's life, but their own, in Captain Gordon's hands.

Again the small party have numerous adventures, each more harrowing than the last. However they get the reward of finally making it to the leader of the entire global resistance, General Bellator. While with him they learn that both Uncle Fallon and Dr. Thornton have been thrown in the Tower and are awaiting execution. Refusing to leave Fallon behind General Bellator launches a rescue mission with the Triune & friends. But the Triune and their friends refuse to rescue Fallon and not Dr. Thornton as well. Unfortunately once they find and when they Thornton they learn the whole thing was a trap, just as they had suspected. Once again they feel the sharp sting of betrayal.

In the end Semara must overcome all her old fears if she is to face down the Queen's Genera to defeat him. Thankfully she has the help of her friends, along other resistance fighters - but not before a member of the Triune is kidnapped by the enemy. Will all three members of the Triune manage to hold it together long enough to survive their injuries, escape their captor, alert the others to their location, and mount a rescue? Or did the Queen's General succeed? Is the Triune shattered for good, the prophecy broken? What a way to leave the readers aching for more! Now the real question is, how long will we have to wait for those answers?

Pendulum is the second in the Neumarian Chronicles and fills in even more on the mysteries and secrets of the first novel. It does end on a cliffhanger but also completes a satisfying arc.

Semara and her Triune (Ryder and Raeth) are on a sub headed to Europe to meet up with the rebellion. She is learning to handle her new talent and it proves surprisingly useful as the group navigates treacherous and often mined waters. She is also undergoing treatment to help her remember her true past; in doing so, Semara will have to question everything she knew before her time on the Queen's ship. But even Europe may not be safe as the Queen closes in, betrayal looms, and her father may just be even more important than she realized.

In all, I enjoyed Pendulum. Several characters come into their own and matured (Raeth especially) and we're given far more background story about the mystery of Semara. The read is undemanding and easy to follow with enough action and suspense to keep the reader hooked. One star less than five due to logic/believability issues (e.g., Semara and Raeth go from princess and miner laundry person to navigator and pilot of a submarine between book 1 and 2). But really, it's a fun adventure.

In all, a good read suitable for teens.

Received as an ARC from the publisher.

First thanks to netgalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The "Neumarian Chronicles" is my first experience with Ciara Knight and I have to say it has been very pleasant so far! Her writing style is enjoyable, exciting and you’ll find yourself sucked into the story.
I particularly enjoyed the fact that her character are very well written, most of them have a depth, it’s not just 2-3 characters who are developed like it’s unfortunately common in a lot of books. The triune characters come into their own and matured in this book and the love story between Semara and Ryder leave me anxious to know what will happens with these two.

I really look forward to the third novel so I can discover how this incredible journey will end! Give it a try you will not be disappointed!

I thought Pendulum was terrific! I haven't read the first book, Escapement, but I plan to read it as soon as I can! This book is very interesting, and kept me reading straight through to the end in no time. I like the aspect of having people with different powers, and to read about all the powers and how they work added an unique take on characters with powers, and I like the futuristic, under the sea habitat; it brought interesting elements to the story. I like that the characters didn't act like dumb teenagers, and made smart decisions. I look forward to the next books in the series; wish I didn't have to wait so long though! I'll look into more from the author, Ciara Knight. Very good book!

WOW!! These are my first thoughts after reading The Neumarian Chronicles. These are the first books I have read by this author and will not be the last! I read Weighted, then Escapement right after. I took about a 10 minute break and dove right into this one; Pendulum. I am in love with these books! The emotions ~ feeling for the characters, like I really knew them. I didn't put this book down; read it straight through. This series has completely sucked me in and has me captive; anxiously awaiting for the next book to come out.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes this genre and this book gets 5***** stars without a doubt.

I haven't read the first book in the series but you don't really need to for you to understand what is going on in this book. I will most likely go back and read it though just because I enjoyed this book so much. I was surprised with the turn of events in the last few chapters but it leads you into craving the next book in the series.
This book was well written and quickly pulls you in, I didn't want to put the book down at all!

Semara and Ryder what a passionate love story.
With all the death, destruction, betrayal, war and hatred they knew how to survive and continue to love each other.
Pentun and Reiyth what a cute couple they make and Ryder protection it’s just so cute.
Now about the whole story this is a second book actually and I didn’t read the first one ( I’m searching for the first one though) because a lot of thing to understand from the first book in order to continue the story for the second book.
But still Pendulum is a good book to enjoy for syfy and romance funs because it’s a mix between both.

So, this book was a breath of fresh air to me compared to the last one. While the last one started off quite a bit rocky for me and stayed that through most of the book, this one was very well put together. The story was more concrete and worked most of the time. Apart from a few times where contrasting statements appeared this was an all around great second book in this trilogy.

Due to the events ending the first book, this one doesn't really focus on the queen. I mean, they talk about her in regards to how to defeat her and the fact that Semara is related to her and the possibility she could be using Semara as a weapon, but mainly in this book they are focusing on finding allies with which to fight her. They do find this, and more, but even more important, Semara finds out parts of her past which until now have eluded her.

So many things are revealed in this book. The truth behind the lies given to her when she was just a small child. And after a betrayal where Semara is almost sentenced to basically die, since no one makes it out of the place she was to be sent to alive, she is led to the one man who can confirm this truth.

I believe in this book that Semara is coming to find out who she really is. I mean, her friends are too, especially Raeth, who has found indescribable happiness, something she has deserved, or at least I felt she deserved since the ordeal which took her leg, but Semara, someone who has not had anyone since the queen took her aboard her ship all those years ago, has found a place. Albeit a somewhat unsure one since she must prove her loyalty to those trying to stop the queen, and she must also gain their trust, but a place nonetheless. It is far more stable than the running she did throughout the first book and the beginning of this one, and ultimately, she is able to almost breathe again. Well, between plotting and planning and helping to keep her people alive, yeah, she can totally breathe.

All in all, so far this book is my favorite in this trilogy. It just flows so much better than the first and definitely goes at a much faster pace than the previous one. Completely worth the read.

After "Escapement" I was eager to see where the story went from there. Semara, Raeth, and Ryder have accomplished their first mission. Now they have to get to the land location of the ENR and stay alive. Unfortunately, that becomes easier said than done. Not only do they have to avoid the Queen's scout ships, they also have to figure out who they can really trust. Sadly, it isn't the council of the ENR.

Like the first novel, "Pendulum" was filled with action and more lip-locking between Semara and Ryder, and even Raeth and their new found techno-wizard Penton. While the action was great, it wasn't overwhelming to the point the story got lost. More information was learned about what started the Great War, plus information on how the Katians and Neumarians came about. I've come of think of Neumarians like Marvel's Mutants. They each have a power they are born with. While not all of them are revealed, some are. Semara controls metal, Ryder gives and takes life energy, and Raeth controls the elements. Then there are characters like Dred, who can prevent other Neumarians from using their powers, and Harrison (Semara's father) who can read and communicate via the mind.

I liked "Pendulum" better than I liked "Escapement." For me, "Escapement" was full of action and tended to override the story a little, but "Pendulum" made up for that. There was a fair amount of action, but more story than anything else. This made the book and definitely made me want to read the final book in the series.

Oh. My Gawd! I didn't see that coming!

I am so taken in by this series I had to recover! Cue the book hangover, yeah.

So this book picks up after two months aboard the Freedom under water and I was eerie and leery about Mart and about Gordon too!

Parts of this book upset me. Seriously... I really truly hate some of the characters in this book even though they do their job with the story and plot thickening. My brain was on overload trying to figure things out for myself. Just when I thought I had it, Bam! New twist!

I love the dynamic between Ryder and Semara even though I was annoyed they were being kept apart.

I was on the fence about Gordon almost the entire time!

I am definitely recommending the Neumarian Chronicles, it is a fast paced thrill ride with lots of action even when not much is happening there is still so much happening.

I was shocked more than once! It's just so good!

I couldn't wait to see what happened and I read through being sick and everything!

And now I NEED to know what happens next! I will definitely be highly anticipating the next book in The Neumarian Chronicles!

Go get your copy of Pendulum and Escapement! You will not regret it!

I applaud Ciara Knight for not disappointing and for creating a book even better than the first book. I don't know where to begin. So much happened in this book that my mind is still thinking about everything that happened.

This story continues right after Escapement ends. Semara and her friends are still on the run, trying to escape the Queen's pawns while trying to survive. Through this new journey, Semara will continue to face sadness, will encounter new people and will keep facing betrayal.

What I love about Semara is that she doesn't put herself in danger knowingly, like other dystopian books Divergent. She is part of the Triune, the three people that will destroy the Queen and she doesn't put herself before anyone else and helps those in need if she knows she can actually do it without compromising herself or others.

Something that this book has lots of is ACTION! Pure, nail-biting, sitting-on-edge action! I loved it! Readers will NOT be disappointed at all! It is suspense-filled and the very well done kind.

As always Ciara Knight has created an amazing storyline that draws you in and takes hold of you. In this installment of the Neumarian Chronicles the “Triune” continue to fight for the freedom of their people. There are several twist and turns that leads to surprise after surprise! As the storyline continues to grow you continue to become invested in the characters that you are becoming to know so well. Ciara does such a wonderful job of putting you into her stories that you feel you are right there with everyone experiencing the moment. I HIGHLY suggest reading one of Ciara Knight’s books – you will not be disappointed! I look forward to reading Balance the next installment of the Neumarian Chronicles!

Disclosure: I received one copy of the book from the Author for review purposes only. I was not compensated to write a positive or favorable review. This is Keeping Up With The Rheinlander’s personal opinion.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book more than Escapement. I'm not sure at this point what to think of all the new characters we've met. I'm not sure who I can trust and who will betray me. Yes, I say me because I feel like I'm a part of Semara, Ryder, and Raeth's inner circle. I hate the way that all the new characters are treating Semara. I suppose I can understand it, but I don't like it. I also hate that Semara and Ryder are being kept apart. I feel that the Triune should be allowed to be together at all times. Hell, they're supposed to save the world from the evil Queen, why keep them apart??? Then you have all the secrets that are revealed. I never imagined the twists and turns that Ciara took me through. And OMG, that ending was just horrible. I need the next book now. I need more Ryder and Semara. I love them as a couple. I'm loving this series so much.

I'm going to start out saying this I hate cliffhangers. Okay I got that off my chest. Make sure you own Balance before reading this, I have to wait a little over a week and I'm going to go insane. I have to know what happens next. Don't get me wrong I loved this book and I love the series. This author is a gifted writer and you get so caught up in the story when it ends you're in shock. Now that I've taken a second and calmed down I can tell you this series is awesome.
