About the author

After spending most of my career as a newspaper journalist and later as a medical writer and editor, I recently began writing novels full-time. I enjoy creating settings in my home state of New Mexico, where my previous co-author and mother --the late Doris Holmes -- was also born. In particular, I love the Chihuahuan Desert where I have spent many magical hours exploring the outdoors.

I wouldn't have read this except for traveling. I got the idea the author didn't exactly know everything about how technology works or how the FBI functions. But then this sort of grandma romance isn't my typical genre.
