Katy, a head-turning gorgeous ER nurse, has spent her life watching her best friend live the romantic fairytale not once, but twice. She’s had to fight and scrape for every ounce of happiness she has ever had, and must battle once again for her life and her dreams. She wasn’t sure she’d ever been truly happy. Did she even deserve love or happiness? She doubted it. Would it ever be her turn to fall in love? She didn’t think so. Katy had always enjoyed the fact that men found her physically attractive, but it always seemed to be the wrong men. “Does my Mr. Right even exist?” she’d wondered. Just a week before her best friend Janie married her Mr. Right, Katy had everything taken from her, enduring what no woman should ever have to. Lured, kidnapped, and violated, her life and sense of wellbeing was destroyed in an instant. Mark had rescued Katy from her captor, but could he now rescue her from the lurid memories that disturbed her every thought? He knew one thing, Katy deserved justice, and he would stand by her side until the criminal was rotting in prison… or hell. He would not let her face this tragedy alone. Unwilling to spend the rest of her life as a victim, Katy fights the demons left to haunt her by the predator and searches for a way to reclaim even a sliver of hope and happiness. ‘First Class Justice’ is the third book in the First Class Novel series by AJ Harmon, preceded by ‘First Class to New York’ and ‘First Class to Portland.’'First Class Voyage' will be available in March, 2013.

AJ grew up in Perth, Western Australia. She is the third of six children and her first exposure to romance was her parents. Now married for almost 55 years, they have always been her example when working on her own marriage and parenting skills.
Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters and Georgette Heyer, were the writers she grew to love in adolescence and still loves now. Her list of favorite authors now has grown to include, not only historical but also contemporary authors as well. Sadly, she doesn’t have as much time to indulge in novels as much as she would like. Her family and now writing her own novels, keeps her very busy, but you will always find a book on her nightstand.
Other hobbies include cooking, one her favorite television shows is The Next Iron Chef on Food Network, and traveling, the UK and the Caribbean her favorite places to visit.
She and her husband of 28 years, reside on the west coast of the USA and have two grown children, making them empty-nesters, and recently adopted a rescued puppy, Max, from the local humane society.

Katy, a beautiful, outgoing, and sometimes smart mouth, ER nurse, has spent her life watching her best friend live the romantic fairytale not once, but twice. Divorced with a son in college, she finds brief happiness with her love for running and the casual dates that come and go.

But then one horrible incident changed all that. Katy had everything taken from her, enduring what no woman should ever have to. Lured, kidnapped, and violated, her life and sense of wellbeing was destroyed in an instant.

Mark had come to her rescue, and with a mix of feelings stuck by her side throughout the legal ordeal, and tried to comfort her as a friend. But his feeling took a turn, but would a friendship be better? Could Janie ever trust another man again?
‘First Class Justice’ is the third book in the First Class Novel series by AJ Harmon, preceded by ‘First Class to New York’ and ‘First Class to Portland.’

The story continues, and we get to revisit the lead characters in Book One, while being captivated by this new segment in book three, which is a bit more emotional, and will pull at your heartstrings. The injustice, and the healing will create empathy and you will want a HEA for Katy.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the first three books and will continue with the series because it has captured me. I highly recommend it, DOWNLOAD BOOK ONE FREE, and get a feel for it. The collection is also available if you are a Book-Bargain hunter: http://amzn.to/1xMpa6O

Katy went through 30 hours of hell and now has to go on living life. Mark was there when they found her and the connection he feels is beyond anything he's ever felt for a woman. Seeing his brother so happy he begins to wonder if he could ever have that too, but the only woman he's interested in having it with is the one he can't have. Katy doesn't think she will ever be able to trust a man again, as Mark keeps coming to town and spending more and more time with hershe realizes her feeling for Mark are growing. The problem is how do you be with someone who's seen you at your worst?

This story shows Katy and Marks going back and forth not sure of how the other feels and it leads to some akward and some very funny interactions. You see as they try to figure out the balance between friends and something more, but it's Matt as the new relationship expert who has to five them the final push is a very funny way.

Katy's strength after what she went through gives you hope that others can come out of dark times too. You see her journey and her struggles as she learns how to move foward after what happened to her. This book does gloss over a difficult subject so I would say reader beware, but it is done very well. These books make you feel as though you are a part of their world and it's great to see more of it.

This is not to be read as a standalone. It is the third book in the series
First Class. Amazing smooth transition from book to book. A 5 star book
with superb elements. The story of Katy and Mark continues. These two are
so easy to love and enjoy. There is no way to avoid falling in love with
Mark. He is so perfect. You just cheer for a happy ever after from page
one. An emotional journey trying to trust and accept love again. There are
moments that are so strong that you have to walk away and regroup. The
writing just captivates. You feel every word. An excellent job of
character inclusion from previous books. There is no ending to each love
story. Story to story you stay connected. Outstanding job with hotttttt
scenes. Yummy!!!!! This is definitely a must read. There's no
disappointment. Get ready to fall in love. Luckily book 4 is waiting.

I absolutely LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book! Katy is beyond awesome and Mark... Wow Mark! I thought Janie and Matt's sexual chemistry was hot, but Katy and Mark's is right up there. This story is so true of someone dealing with an attack. Now if women could just believe in themselves like Katy did not only for the crime but for herself. I just love this series and it keeps getting better!

A total of seven Lathem brothers?!?! Three are taken... Who will be the next? I can't wait to find out which Lathem Brother will be invading the dreams of a very deserving woman!

3.5 Stars! I'm very happy there are more books to this series. This book picked up where "First Class to Portland" left off. Katy was left broken after the events from the second book in the series. The way Mark initially handled Katy in the beginning of the book was very sweet.

This book is about Katy and Mark you learn more about them and their stories. One thing I am loving about this series is its about 30-40 yrs olds in the real world. Of course the men are hot and Rich but they all face normal issues.

I love this book. From the first line to the last, it had me hooked. Something new is always happening and the family is fantastic. No spoilers and I’m going to post the same review for all 9 books. This is the umpteenth time I have read them. I give them another read when I want to be completely immersed in the Lathem family and come out feeling great. Wonderful romances. Read them all!

When I read this, I didn't realize it was the third in a series. It is, however, perfectly written and works as a stand alone. What vivid imagery she's brought to these characters and her world.

First Class Justice is book three of First Class Series by A.J.Harmon.

This is the story about Katy, ER nurse and Janie's best friend, whom we met in book one and two of this series. Katy has spent her life watching her best friend live the romantic fairytale not once, but twice. She’s had to fight and scrape for every ounce of happiness she has ever had, and must battle once again for her life and her dreams. She wasn’t sure she’d ever been truly happy. She had always enjoyed the fact that men found her physically attractive, tall and blond with a body women would kill for, but it always seemed to be the wrong men. She’d wondered if her "Mister Right" even existed. Just a week before her best friend Janie wedding to Janie's Mr. Right, Katy had everything taken from her, enduring what no woman should ever have to. Lured, kidnapped, and violated, her life and sense of wellbeing was destroyed in an instant. Mark Lathem had rescued Katy from her captor, and saw first hand what that monster did to her, but could he now rescue her from the lurid memories that disturbed her every thought? He knew one thing, Katy deserved justice, and he would stand by her side until the criminal was rotting in prison… or hell. He would not let her face this tragedy alone. Unwilling to spend the rest of her life as a victim, Katy fights the demons left to haunt her by the predator and searches for a way to reclaim even a sliver of hope and happiness.

I really liked Katy story. I found the author's treatment of Katy's kidnapping and violation penned so that the story relayed the horror Katy went through without the graphic detail. The sensual level between Katy and Mark I would rate a 6. I purchased this series as a box set and highly recommend this novel....

Katy and Mark.... I wanted to love this story. I adored the 2 previous books, so I had high hopes. Sadly, it just didn't land with me.

I didn't feel the same character development that I felt with the previous characters. We don't get to know much about Mark at all. I feel like he was just there. We had learned so much about Katy in the previous books, so she was already established. Mark, not so much.

Once again we have the grammar and editing issues. There are the ever present exclamation points as well as the wrong tense of words and the wrong use of you're. Seriously? How does that get by an editor or proof reader? Sorry, those kinds of things just make me crazy.

On to the next story, which seems like it might be about everyone, but some pretty serious focus on Mark and Katy.

I loved this series by AJ Harmon, I had thought I had reviewed it when I read it but come to find I hadn't and that was two years ago and I still remember this series and the characters, What an interesting family and each book is dedicated to one member, its the type of family most of wish we could belong too. These books have the whole meal deal, laugh out load moments, sadness and family gatherings that would make a good movie series. Thank you AJ for your writing and giving me so many good memories of reading, Cheers

Katy was so unlike her best friend, sweet Janie. Physically she was very attractive with an envious figure. In terms of her personality, she was tough, jaded and was prone to cussing. Not only did I enjoy the romance between Katy and Mark, the author did a good job in describing the healing process after what Katy had experienced. Janie’s and Matt’s relationship accelerated really quickly while Katy’s and Mark’s took some time considering that Katy needed to heal her emotional wounds first.

I really enjoy the First Class series. First Class Justice is the continuation from the last story. This one takes you through the after effects of Katy’s traumatic 30 hours of being held captive by a guy who was obsessed with her. Harmon does a great job of going through the real life effects of what Katy and her friend went through. I love the ending and can’t wait to start reading the next one.

This is the story of Katy and Mark; Katy's recovery from her kidnapping, their burgeoning feelings for each other and ultimately what happens to the dude who kidnapped and assaulted her.

Again, the issue is less about the story and characters which are compelling enough to keep reading, but execution and editing.

2.5 Stars at the most.

I loved book one and two but this was a rough.

The content was sad but the connection between the H/h was just not convincing to me. The connection and passion wasn't there. May it was just me but I just never felt connected to them.
