Have been reading several books like this (Koufman's two books) and found this the most comprehensive for acid reduction dieting. A bit confused as to what to avoid since some books, for example, allow coffee (1cup) and others do not. Never thought I would give up coffee and though it took 5 months, when I did, it was a game changer.
This book incredibly thorough and scientific though is practical and easy to apply. I have easily been able to identify issues in my own digestion that have no been addressed by my doctors. I believe this book with help further my road to better gut health.
Questionable claims on research done. No direct citations and so it's hard to find the research that the booked referred to even though there is a reference list.
Fantastic book; very informative by one of my most favorite experts on the topic of digestive health. Worthy read if you are challenged by digestive issues in any regard.
