You were born for a purpose. You were born to create. You were born to live with passion, confidence, and joy. You were born for greatness.
But life is challenging. So many forces are arrayed against our success: pain, fear, lack of knowledge, social pressure. Happiness can seem like a fleeting exception, rather than the rule.
Despite these forces, success and happiness are the predictable and guaranteed results of living natural laws -- specifically, the Six Laws of Conscious Creation. These powerful, universal laws are detailed in this book, which is written as a parable.
Through the story of Shaun Porter, you’ll learn how you can conquer your personal limitations, discover your unique purpose, and exercise the power of creative manifestation.
Read this book to learn how to:
-Overcome unconscious forces and live as a Conscious Creator. -Alter your perceptions of reality and move from victim to victor. -Become more creative, innovative, and productive. -Gain clarity on exactly what you want to do and be -- to live by design, rather than default. -Increase your faith and personal power to achieve your goals. -Uncover and uproot false and limiting beliefs, and replace them with true and empowering beliefs. -Make more money by living your passion. -Create and manifest the life of your dreams, and leave a lasting legacy.
Reading this book for me was immensely powerful because of a very personal spiritual experience that I had because my mind was on the principles I was reading about. Reading this story was like putting the finish polish on principles I already have learned about and lived to some degree. It helped me see exactly what areas I want to work on in order to truly bring my vision into fruition. What an absolutely inspiring book it was for me!
It is written in parable form. I have read books written in parable form that were not so great at all because the flimsiness of the story writing didn't hold up for me. I have also read books written in parable form that have been engaging, well-written, and wonderful vehicles to teach the principles they are written about. This book is one of the latter.
This is an okay book. I liked how to book was trying to be inspirational, however I found the constant ramblings about one simple point that could be summed up in a paragraph annoying and distracting. It was also unpolished. The kindle version was absolutely horrid. It looked like it was written up in word. Sometimes there were double spaced lines and sometimes not. There are page numbers and headings listed in the middle of a page because, again, it wasn't polished for Kindle version. I got the feeling that the only true message that the book was saying was "dream big, and then go for it". And then there was a lot of motivational and inspirations speech to fill the pages. Which is not bad, but it felt like a waste of time since you can get this same kind of experience and a lot more inspiration if you watch his YouTube videos. Did I mention the rambling? Yeah, a lot of rambling. I just wanted the book to be put together, concise , and no b.s. but they made it into a fictional tale. I wanted condensed wisdom and I got long-winded story telling.
I really enjoyed this book. I highly recommend downloading the accompanying journal and doing the easy, but thoughtful work. This book is a good read and makes many of the concepts of the laws of thought tangible and understandable. I liked the story and gained a lot of insight from having my head in this book. I really wish someone would write a book like this about how someone follows their bliss while raising 6 kids. ;) I will definitely revisit this book and journal as I work on the challenge it offers.
Many of the laws expressed in this book I've seen elsewhere, particularly the Law of Attraction. However, Kris has the best process in identifying one's limiting beliefs (the things which hold us back from everything we want in life), and overcoming them I've ever seen. I can't speak for everyone who has tried his method, and I imagine some have back slid, but I have seen multiple examples of it triggering permanent change and improvement. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is serious about wanting to make their life better.
This is a short story of a man named Sean who is dissatisfied with his life. He's stuck in a dead end job, doing something he doesn't like when he stumbles onto the key to true happiness. With some effort, he learns the 6 laws of conscious creation and successfully applies them to make his dreams become realities.
One of my favorite quotes from this book is, "Happiness comes from living your purpose and serving others through your purpose. You become happy not by avoiding unhappiness, but by pursuing a clearly defined and noble purpose. Happiness is a by-product, not a goal.” What an incredible guide to self discovery. I was able to follow along the main character Shaun as he broke through his limiting beliefs, and do the same for myself. I really appreciate the journal. The open ended questions helped me to delve deep into my subconscious to understand why I think the way I do and where the belief originated. Two of my limiting beliefs that I have now given up were: "I follow the structure created by society, family and school because it is safe." and "I am 2nd place. Someone else is always one step ahead of me." NOW I replace those with, "I create my own life's structure, to allow myself the unlimited room for creation and growth. I create my destiny." and "I am allowed to succeed; when I win others win with me." I recommend that you not only read this book, but that you take the time to be introspective and apply the lessons in it to your life. I am a CONSCIOUS CREATOR!
This book is amazing. It has some excellent ideas and really inspires you to pursue what you are passionate about in life...if you're willing to do the work to find out what that is. When I began reading it, I expected to find my True Purpose, whatever that was. Truthfully, I have been looking for that one thing all of my life. But somewhere in the middle of reading this, I realized that my True Purpose isn't about pursuing one big thing, like it was for Shawn, the book's main character, and I don't think that was the message Krohn intended to send. It's more about focusing on what makes you happy and feeds your energy and doing that, and there are lots of things that do that for me, so I'm no longer going to believe there's this one big thing I'm meant to do. I'm just going to keep doing all of the things I love, and hopefully somehow it will make money for me along the way. Krohn does make you take a good look at your life and think about why you do what you do, and that's what I loved most about it.
Although I should mention that the prose is sub par (on the first page the author warns that this book will read like a novel but should be used as a kind of guide...) but that hardly matters because what this book really is is a teaching book in the style of elementary grades: what appears to be just conversation is really hammering home a point and you then are offered a sort of 'exercise' after the chapter to make what you learned more real. It works quite well and this book calls upon the writings of some of the all time greats (napoleon hill, Viktor frankl, etc). A solid read that rejuvenated my lust for life.
Excellent book, well written, compelling story. I appreciated learning about the six laws and applying them in my husband's and my life. These are definitely things I will continue to contemplate, with similar concepts to those found in the Jackrabbit Factor.
