this is the perfect book for book lovers of all ages. It's a celebration of books and it's very sweet. I loved the illustrations too, they are a mix of collage and drawing with soft colours. There is also a little mouse on every page that reminded me of Quentin Blake's illustrations

Présentez la diversité littéraire sous toutes ses formes, certaines plus sérieuses alors que d’autres sur une note plus humoristique, ce livre me semble être une introduction charmante au monde des livres et à ses multiples possibilités.

This book exudes a joy of reading, with simple rhyming text and gorgeous illustrations. I had to buy a copy for my kids, even though at ages 5 and 7 they're really far too old for it. It's going right to the top of my list of baby shower/new baby gifts!

Books are the best! They can be just about anything.

Of course I love a good book about books and this one is pretty good. The sparse (sometimes too) text and colorful illustrations provide plenty of interest and encourage a love of reading. It's hard to argue with that combination.

Summer Reading Day 84: Hey there, friends! Today, we read Books Always Everywhere, written by Jane Blatt and illustrated by Sarah Massini. This is a cute little book of opposites with books and reading as the central theme. It covers a lot of the typical opposites (big/small, stop/start, scary/funny etc) but gives a fun twist to avid readers and book lovers, showing that great books come in all shapes, sizes, colors and locales.

This was a cute, fun book, perfect in length and subject for very young readers like JJ. The illustrations are fun and adorable, and even have little hidden jokes in the book titles for older readers. If you’re looking for a book of opposites that’s a little bit different, perhaps for a Baby Bookworm like JJ, this one is great. We liked it a lot!

Books Always Everywhere is a celebration of books big and small, wide and tall! Geared to the youngest bibliophiles, this book is generously sized with sturdy pages for a lap read or storytime. The short, simple rhyming text is large enough to track with your finger as you read aloud to little listeners.

The illustrations feature tots and animals holding books, building with books, even climbing books! Books are featured on each page in all sorts of games and fantastic settings. For example, on the pages showing “Book build / Book mat / Book chair / Book hat” toddlers perch on piles of cleverly titled books (Sitting Pretty, 100 Best High Chairs). Lest your children mistake this for an instructional manual, it would be best to tell them that they shouldn’t really use books for anything other than reading!

The pictures subtly teach comparison of size and shape as well as types of books like scary and funny. The children are delightfully multicultural and sport cleverly textured and patterned clothing, hats and accessories. A sweet tiny mouse is featured on every page, a fun friend to follow from beginning to end.

Books Always Everywhere is a charming book to encourage little ones to appreciate books and reading!

Sweet picture book for young readers. I like that it shows young readers reading everywhere. At the beginning it uses adjectives to describe book sizes then moved into what you can use books for, then where you can read them (at a park, in bed). My favorite picture is the book shop :)
Simple text, so definitely for the younger crowd. You could use with a very young grade to talk abt what you see readers doing.
My favorite part was the beautiful illustrations.

A perfect book to read to the early years kids as this book introduces that books also could be different in all shapes and sizes. To teach the kids about the genre of the book and also what can we learn from reading the book!

This is an adorable children’s book that is both fun to read as well as it is a nice introduction to different types of books for little ones. Toddlers grace each page and interact with books, which can be big, small, wide, tall...or so much more! Books are thus either bigger, smaller, wider, or taller than the toddlers on the page, teaching young bibliophiles important concepts in a visually relatable way.

Books Always Everywhere also shows creative uses for books, such as when the toddlers use books to build a fort or as a chair, a hat, or a mat. Young readers are also introduced to book locations (the park, bookstore, bedtime), book genres (scary, funny), as well as the notion that books can be enjoyed rain or shine.

The illustrations are vibrant with excellent attention to detail. I personally love the little mouse that appears on every page, enjoying the books just as much as the kids. I also particularly love that the books are all themed to match the topic of the particular page on which they are featured. For example, the “Book park” page shows a scene of kids playing on the swings at the park while reading books about playtime as well as books with outdoorsy titles, such as Trees are the Bee’s Knees and Oops-a-Daisy. Or the two-page spread for “Book scary,” where a toddler is reading Spooky Stories while leading a spooky parade of a ghost, a werewolf, a witch, and a bear in what looks like a cobwebby dungeon (complete with bat flying around).

My personal favorite, however, is the last two-page spread, where many of the previous pages’ themes converge to show a wide range of reading interests all hanging out and having fun together. Toddlers are sharing their favorite books with each other (and the mouse!), while the detailed titles all reflect the concepts that were previously highlighted throughout the book.

Books Always Everywhere provides a lot of detail for older toddlers/kids/adults, but still provides simple words and phrases (typically only two words per page/theme) for the younger ones. This makes it a fun, quick read for short attention spans, beginning readers, and bibliophiles alike! I highly recommend this title for ages 2 and up.

Books Always Everywhere is a children's picture book written by Jane Blatt and illustrated by Sarah Massini. It is about the joyful celebration of the physical book.

Blatt' text is simplistic and straightforward. The narrative is rather simple – a couple of words for each page and rather poetic. It is about the joys of reading and the nature of books. Blatt's illustrations are wonderfully depicted, a tad childish, but it exemplifies and apropos to the text rather well.

The premise of the book is rather straightforward. It is about the joys of the many books out there. For the very young, books could be chairs, towers, hats –not just for reading. It is a very simplistic book and targeted to younger children, where each page has a couple of words – the first word always being book.

All in all, Books Always Everywhere is a wonderfully well written children's book that celebrates the concept of the physical book.

Bright, fun, full-page illustrations accompany the short text in this book. Each page only has a couple of words in phrases. It illustrates that no matter where you are or what you are doing there is a book around. The one thing I don't like is that it says "Book build," "Book Mat," and "Book hat." The kids are using the books to play and build. As a school librarian, I keep thinking this is such poor book care! Book for the very young.

I love how this book makes you feel that there are endless opportunities and adventures with books, which in turn makes you excited to explore more. I also like that it has the option to scan a QR code so that you can listen to the audio version of the book, as this could make it accessible to more/different people, such as children with parents who don't speak English, those who cannot read or maybe even children with visual impairments.

very simple, short text. This would be better as a board book. Cute illustrations. Story mostly about different shapes, sizes, and uses for books.

Only a couple words per page, for very young children. One page ("Book scary") has a ghost and witch, which my family does not like and therefore the low rating.

This book just became one of mommy’s favorites! It shows different kinds of books and different ways that books can be enjoyed. It also rhymes. Super sweet.
