Admittedly, I didn't read the whole book- but I wanted to share that it's filled with fun projects and valuable information that my family benefitted from in our pioneer studies. (Some of the info was a little dry for my elementary kids.)
This short story informational book is about the Oregon Trail. There are various things that students are instructed to make from the book, such as log cabins and covered wagons. I would use this book in a fourth grade classroom to help students learn about the Oregon Trail.
