Worldwide research, interviewing key witnesses and discussing the subject with astronauts, military and intelligence specialists, pilots, politicians and scientists, has established Timothy Good as a leading authority on UFOs and the alien presence - the most highly classified subject on Earth.

He became interested in the subject in 1955, when his passion for aviation and space led him to read a book by Major Donald Keyhoe describing UFO sightings by qualified observers such as military and civilian pilots. In 1961, after reading a book by Captain Edward Ruppelt, a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer, he began to conduct his own research. Since then, he has amassed a wealth of evidence, including several thousand declassified intelligence documents.

Timothy Good has lectured at universities, schools, and at many organizations, including the Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences, the Royal Canadian Military Institute, the Royal Geographical Society, the Royal Naval Air Reserve Branch, the House of Lords All-Party UFO Study Group, and the Oxford and Cambridge Union societies. In January 1989, following the dissolution of the Soviet empire, he became the first UFO researcher from the West to be interviewed on Russian television. He was invited for discussions at the Pentagon in 1998, and at the headquarters of the French Air Force in 2002. He has also acted as consultant for several U.S. Congress investigations. He is known to millions through his numerous television appearances and has co-produced several documentaries on the subject.

Timothy Good's first book, Above Top Secret: The Worldwide UFO Cover-up (1987) became an instant bestseller, and is regarded widely as the definitive work on the subject, together with the fully revised and updated book replacing it, Beyond Top Secret: The Worldwide UFO Security Threat (1996), which remained for five weeks on the Sunday Times bestseller list. Alien Liaison: The Ultimate Secret (1991) spent thirteen weeks on the same bestseller list. Alien Base: Earth's Encounters with Extraterrestrials (1998) went to No.4 on the Guardian bestseller list. His book, Unearthly Disclosure: Conflicting Interests in the Control of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (2000) was serialized in the Daily Mail. He has also edited a number of books on the subject, including the bestselling Alien Update (1993). Four of these books have a foreword by Admiral of the Fleet The Lord Hill-Norton, former Chief of the Defence Staff and Chairman of the NATO Military Committee. Need to Know: UFOs, the Military and Intelligence (2006/2007) is now published in paperback in the U.K., U.S and Canada. Good’s latest work - EARTH: An Alien Enterprise – is due for publication by Pegasus Books (New York) in November 2013.

Read the description of this book which is appended. Sounds exciting, doesn't it? Here is proof positive of alien bases on Earth. Here are convincing photographs. Hardly! This book is mostly a rehash of material which can be found in any number of books about the subject of UFOs.
This was read up at brother Fin's home in Sawyer, Michigan.

Read the description of this book which is appended. Sounds exciting, I have always been a person of mystery and want to know information about Extraterrestrial life and this description of this book hooked me up. Here is proof positive of alien bases on Earth. Here are convincing photographs. That gave me a curiosity to read it, and all of this proof was all reused material from all other books I have read about Aliens and their evidence. This didn't contain truly visual images or well-made descriptions of the evidence itself. This book is mostly a remake of other books that can be found in any number of books about the subject of UFOs and Aliens. This book talked about, the stories and ideas that people have seen and the evidence that there is to prove that we are not the only ones. They forgot to mention, that the government always covers up, and we truly don't know what is happening in other areas like the trend that started it all with "Area 51". This has been made from, several books about the theory that many sightings have been found there but never truly released by the government itself. I rated this book a 2/5 because it really disappointed me because I came into it with the curiosity of learning new information about the topic itself. It just gave me, the same any other book would give me and I think the purpose of authors is to give the reader something new that would hook them into the book and make them understand the point they are trying to give across. I hardly learned any information or was hooked with all the stories that have been told everywhere before and they didn't give good visuals on certain sightings they explained.

Now, this is an amazing book, though I have done a considerable research on the subject the author portrays a huge amount of cases that was not familiar, and gives a good analyses on the ones that are already very famous, such as Adamsky, Daniel Fry and Howard Menger. Their book was mainly focused on this absurd human extra terrestrials contacts, and somehow this book helped in recuperate this sort of event, stating that there was a core of truth to it. The author also contributes with a few interesting unpublished stories. Though many of these stories sound absurd, and the author been maligned for been too naive, and accepting everything, too me now he seems to be more on the right than on the wrong. Very interesting book indeed, with a lot of material.

If you like UFOs and aren't very good at fact-checking or critical thinking, you'll love this book. I do commend that the author addresses counterarguments regarding hoaxing but got exasperated when chapter after chapter, upon revealing a 'witness' demonstrating fraud, the author proclaims (paraphrased) 'I still think he's credible!'
This is the type of material that makes people sneer at the subject matter.

As evidence for extraterrestrial colonization of earth, the book falls rather short. But as a timeline of alleged contact events this book really comes into its own. Good opts for a fairly non-judgemental presentation of the claims, which might not suit all readers, but for me the appeal is more in compiling who said they met what and when, rather than proving or disproving anything.

A good book with some interesting facts, although it can drag on at times. Worth a read if you are prepared to skip through some of the slow bits.

The Good: a fantastic, huge collection of incidents and events assembled by one of the premier Ufologists. Good's research is beyond reproach, personally interviewing the people who had close encounters or sightings of UFOs and aliens. It's a long read but should be a seminal book in your UFO collection. But get the hard copy.

The Bad and The Ugly: this eBook is a freaking mess, to put it bluntly. Sentences that fall off into space, misplaced words, punctuation, etc. It's very obvious that this was NOT proof-read before transforming into the eBook version. I don't understand why an author like Good didn't take a look at the finished Kindle version.

The only reason I didn't return it after a few chapters is because I've read other books by Timothy Good and I wanted to read this one, so I suffered through it to the bitter end. I would have given this a 5-star rating if not for the sloppy unedited version.

Trovo Timoth Good fin troppo "appassionato" nella difesa di molte tesi. Il problema è che, parlando di ufologia, è fin troppo facile passare la soglia tra "ricerca accurata" e "bufala pazzesca".

Good reading

Although I enjoyed this book, I thought the transcript from book to e-book was very poor. Needs reviewing to correct errors, also pictures not clear.
