This book is a great resources for elementary teachers who teach reading. It provides detailed examples on what the standards entail as well as how a lesson would look like in the classroom. This is a must have for those who are or will be teaching the common core!

I'm finally almost done with my classes and I can have a life again!! Until my next class begins in January, that is . . . This book wasn't bad, but it just wasn't that helpful either. "Pathways to the Common Core" was much better and I felt that I learned a lot more from it than from this book.

Have not read this yet. It has one star only because I could not figure out how to give it no stars.

Functional, but each standard's chapter in section two follows the same pattern. Don't try to do four of them in two days.
