It is insightful for understanding earlier versions of Django and how it evolved. Some principles are evergreen and useful but others are already outdated, so you need to read this first and pair it up with an up to date resource for version 4.

This is a really good reference for Django. I'm slowly working my way through the book. I'm working on some small web-apps using Django with this book as a guide...
