Litt dyrere, for smakens skyld.
The follow up to "Serafin und seine Wundermaschine" convinces with an image-laden anti-consumerism approach. Serafin gets "discovered" as model by the director of "Blubbersprudel", a sparkling water company - just against his own will. The book tells a witty and fantastic story of how to develop a standpoint and how to live in coincidence with your convictions - which finally leads to freedom for Serafin and his friend Plum.
Charming and imaginative, but I can't entirely like all the nostalgia for premodern life, as I just don't think it's very idyllic at all. Great drawings though. The other Serafin (Beebo?) book was one of my favourites as a kid, if I had read this when I was five-ish as well, maybe I'd have liked it better. No way of knowing :)
