When you read this book, you will find that English and German were once the same language. You will learn that English is not a Latin based language. That in fact in is a Scandanavian language, a germaic language. Another good book for those history buffs. Enjoy! Learn something.

There's no substitute for putting in the time - but, I appreciated learning the why behind the how in this language book. Engaging. Nice charts for memorization.
