I liked this book, because it contained a lot of the humor I like from his character on the show "How I Met Your Mother". Many of the things mentioned were actually used on the show, and I could picture the events as they happened. It was a quick read, as most were short, and it only took me about an hour to get through it all. I got it free for the Kindle on Amazon, which was a real treat as well. Very humerous read, and it made me wonder if any of these could actually work. I'm sure the billionaire could, but maybe not the others.

Fine for the Can

It's not just a promo for the show, "How I Met Your Mother, it is ALSO an extension of the show, and a new way to sell material already broadcast for free. Barney is not the best part of the show, and this is all Barney. I would guess that 60% was recycled and the rest was fresh. You couldn't call it hilarious but it would be unfair not to admit it was amusing.

It's about right for light, interruptible material, which is about right for use reading on the toilet.

Great one for fans of "How I Met Your Mother"

If you know the character of Barney from the aforementioned show, you'll probably get a big kick out of this book. If not, it just kind of comes off as sexist and juvenile. While quite amusing, I would highly recommend that no one tries this crap in real life. That is unless you enjoy having the odd drink thrown in your face now and again, lol.

This was a quick and fun read. I remember at least one play from the show. A great job staying in the Barney Stinson character. If I come across the other books I will read them, but I'm not going to seek them out.
