Nice story, lots of suspense for a Superromance. The heroine's daughter was in the house when her father (the heroine's ex) was murdered. Heroine ran with the little girl and has been hiding since. The hero wants to solve a different murder that might be connected to the ex's death. And things take off from there. The conflict is mostly about the heroine wanting to protect her daughter, though there is a bit of stuff from the past, both hero's and heroine's. The plot progresses almost entirely through the crime - solving. It's a good story, but not what I would usually expect from a Super. I liked it a lot.
