Twenty-year-old Liberty is beautiful, ambitious and dreams of making it as an actress. She is also a single mother and has a three-year old daughter, Brooke. Living with her mother, she supports her daughter by modelling and working as a waitress.

Then, over one perfect summer, Liberty meets and falls in love with Cory, a young American taking time off from university. But Liberty never feels good enough for him, and when she meets his university friends, she feels it's only fair to let him go. Heartbroken, Cory leaves to go back to the States.

Liberty, meanwhile, suddenly gets the break she's been praying for. Zac, a TV director has seen her picture and wants her to audition for a role in LA. And so, Liberty and Brooke begin a new phase of their lives. Suddenly, she is successful, but she can't forget Cory. Until news of his engagement reaches her, and she finally agrees to marry Zac.

Years later, everything has changed. Liberty has fled LA, taking a reluctant teenage Brooke with her. But returning to her home town of Brighton reawakens painful memories. Especially as she meets Cory again. She still loves him, but he seems to hate her. Can she ever convince him to trust her again?

Born as Katie Infield in Brighton, East Sussex, England on May 22 1978, I changed my last name to Price when my mother Amy remarried. I have an older brother, Daniel, and a younger sister, Sophie.

Although I had many interests when I was younger, a friend suggested that I should pursue a modeling career. So I sent a few shots to an agency and was taken on. I attended loads of castings, had my fair share of negative responses then one day, in a studio next to where I was working, a model failed to turn up for a shoot. The photographer asked around if anyone would be interested in doing a topless shoot… and the rest, as they say, is history!

My topless modeling career took off in 1996 when I appeared in The Sun as part of the ‘Page 3′ pictorial. The legendary section of the tabloid features a different girl each day posing topless. I was the first topless model to grace the Page 3 for a whole week – fully dressed on a Monday, then each day revealing more and more untill Friday – full topless. The exposure boosted my career and I soon became one of the UKs most famous models, under the pseudonym ‘Jordan.’

From there on I graced many magazine front covers , not just in the UK but also across Europe. My popularity soon reached even further afield and I posed for Playboy, landing on the front cover of the September 2002 issue.

I have been through many well-publicised relationships. And my illnesses, including the removal of a tumor from one of my fingers and complications with my pregnancies and family, have been very public.

Whatever her faults as a person I've been a fan of Katie Price's books since Angel was first published. Yes I'm aware she doesn't actually write her books but she does come up with the characters and the plots, so you know kudos to her and all.

After having read all her books bar one I've become familiar with all the characters that make an entrance in her books and I was super excited to learn Angel and Cal actually feature in this book. However they only play a small role.
I liked that this book was actually told from alternate POV's (mother/daughter) but I much preferred the daughters voice in this book. It somehow seems more real.
I usually love Katie's story lines as they make these glamorous lives seem accessible but with this book I found it a little too predictable. I knew exactly how this book would turn out and it just didn't work this time around.

This book is a good if you're looking for a nice easy read full of guilty little pleasures.

I enjoyed this one but not as much as previous books, it just felt a bit.. flat compared to the others. Nothing really major happened and it just felt like we were going through the motions before the predictable, inevitable ending. I did like the characters though and that's probably the reason for the generous rating.

These books, for those that don't know, are actually written by Rebecca Farnworth. I feel bad saying this but I only started reading these books because they have Katie's name on and even though Farnworth has written some books of her own, I haven't read any of them but probably would if they were published under Katie's name. I would like to know however how much input Katie has into these books, does she just come up with names? Plots? Who knows.. the names of the characters in Price's books are usually over the top and ridiculous, however in this one they felt a bit more normal.

Another thing I like about the books is that they all take place in the same 'world'. By that I mean the books often contain mentions and/or appearances of previous characters. In this one Jez and Rufus are back, as are Angel and Cal Bailey. Angel is probably the best creation from Farnworth and Price and hopefully she'll have another book of her own soon. But this time the story was about Liberty, starting in 1999 and then jumping to the present day where we then had alternating chapters between Liberty and her daughter Brooke.

I did enjoy reading both characters' stories but probably enjoyed Brooke's more. It was fun reading about this spoilt LA brat moving to Brighton and what a culture shock it was for her. But at the same time I thought it was unfair that Liberty let her grew up having whatever the hell she wanted and then just expected her to then live a normal life without kicking up a fuss about it. I did however find the story incredibly predictable, the romances were obvious and the whole book just felt like filler before reaching the end. That said it was a fun, enjoyable read which is all you can really hope for from books like this. Books snobs obviously won't like it but anyone looking for a fun enjoyable read will enjoy.

I received a copy of He’s the One by Katie Price in exchange for an honest review.

The first thing I thought when I started reading this book was this is a thick book. Due to all my crazy wedding plans I haven’t been reading as fast as I usually can, so I worried about getting my review in on time. But, I’m happy to say that the book flew by for me! The first section in the book is from 1999, and is told from Liberty’s POV. We see her as a struggling waitress, a single mom who has dreams of becoming an actress and making a good life for her daughter Brooke. She falls in love with Cory, but their summer romance doesn’t last. Then we are fast-forwarded to 2013, and start getting POV’s from both Liberty and her daughter Brooke. Now Liberty is a celebrity living in LA, and while her life might seem glamorous from the outside, she is really in a horrible marriage and still pining after her first true love – Cory. After finally leaving her husband and fleeing back home to Brighton, readers get the final piece of Liberty and Brooke’s story. Away from LA, mother and daughter finally seem to forge a real relationship, love is found (for both women), and I loved the happy ending. The story is fast-paced, fun to get immersed in, and I highly enjoyed He’s the One!

You're probably looking at this review thinking 'OMG you actually read it' Yes I did and this book is great.

It tells the story of Liberty trying to find her one true love Cory, and the story of her daughter Brooke who is just trying to be herself. Personally I think the blurb was wrong, I thought the book was just going to be Liberty's story it was quite misleading however the book was much more entertaining written in this way.

The written style of the book was pretty simple: if it said Liberty at the beginning of a chapter it was about Liberty vice-versa. As far as I could tell there wasn't many grammar errors this could be Katie's best book on that matter. The story was intriguing yet not too complicated, it flowed well and was easy enough to follow. This book could be said to be the mildest (sexual context wise) book Katie has written so was more inappropriate for teen readers.

Overall I think that Katie's writing style had improved since the Angel trilogy, others may think different as many of her books have been a let down. I am glad to say that I have read this book, the story was fairly relatable and the characters were easy to justify.

HE"S THE ONE BY KATIE PRICE
THE BLURB
Can you ever forget your first love?
Liberty Evans hasn't.She has a beautiful daughter, a successful career as an actress, and she's married to one of Hollywood's most powerful directors.
But behind the glamour, things are not what they seem. Her daughter Brooke is turning into a spoiled teenager, her husband controls everything she does, and Liberty longs for Cory, the man she loved before she became famous.
Unable to live a lie any more, Liberty returns to England with a reluctant Brooke, to start a new life. While her daughter has to cope with a massive lifestyle change, Liberty finds that she cannot get Cory out of her head.
But will he want her any more? Or will she have to accept that her first love belongs to the past?

I have read all of Katie Price’s books and I must say I felt a little let down by ‘In the Name of Love’ and was hoping that this would not follow suit.

‘He’s the one’ follows Liberty a young girl, thriving to become an actress and working in an Italian restaurant to get by for her and her daughter Brooke. One day a handsome guy comes into the restaurant with his mates, he is American and takes a shine to Liberty. For the next couple of months Liberty and Cory are inseparable, he is then due to return to the States and Liberty must accept this. Things change quickly for Liberty though and she gets the offer of a lifetime and moves to LA with Brooke; Cory remains in the U.K.

The book then splits into part two, this has been fast-forwarded 14 years and then each chapter is dedicated to either Liberty or Brooke, who is now almost 18. I felt at this part in the book the plot really picked up and I began whizzing through the pages. I enjoyed the story and the drama’s that came along with it. (For anyone who has read Katie Price novels before, you will know there are always many dramas!)

I thought the characters were developed well throughout the book, Liberty is perceived to be a generally lovely person, and at times you really feel for her. Brooke begins as a spoilt brat, having all the money she could ever want and getting what she wants, when she wants it. When Liberty drops a bombshell on Brooke she begins to change as a person and you realise she wasn’t once the girl she was in LA. The characters are well liked and I think this helped massively while reading it.

I also thought that this book was a little more down to earth than Katie’s previous books; we see both characters working in a restaurant, something that many of us do and I feel that this allows the reader to connect better to the book. It is nice to read about celebrities and their lives etc, but us mere mortals have to go a long way to be able to connect to it.

The book is an easy, holiday read and not very taxing – just the type of book I enjoy when I am back at work and things become busy. I thought that this was one of Katie Price’s better novels and it was nice to see returning characters. This does not make a difference, however if you have not read her previous novels.

I would like to thank the publisher for sending me a copy, this has not affected my review in any way.

I did like this book- I'm guilty of actually really enjoying Katie Prices books, they're perfect to take on your holidays as they're so easy to read. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others, it was a bit flat. I liked all the characeters- even warming to Brooke. There just wasn't a big story to it, it was predictable at the end- like most chick lit but it was missing something. As always I did like the inclusion of other characeters from her other books. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book straight away there are others by Katie Price that beat this by a long shot I would suggest reading first. As for other fans of Katie Price I would suggest reading just to keep up with the collection but I wouldn't rush it.

I really enjoyed this book and loved how it was from 2 characters perspectives. I found it linked very well together and found it interesting how it was from 2 different times in liberty's life.
Only thing I would say is the ending I found was a bit rushed and I found I wanted more detail. Also I think it would also have been good if some of the story was from cory's perspective as well as liberty and Brooke. Would love a second story about these characters. All in all a great story

This was a hard book to decide on a rating, i have loved all her other books but didnt really care much about the main man in the book at first as he was very immature and just annoyed me, but by the end i was really enjoying it which is why it has 4 stars instead of 3. Not as good as her other books but it was alright in the end.

Rebecca Farnworth (the ghostwriter) and Katie Price (the plot person) have together written a book that is highly readable and fun. Virtually no cringe worthy moments (which is something in the genre) except perhaps at the end where it all becomes a bit over the top and unbelievable. I'd give it 3.5 stars. Listened to as an audio book read by Kate Kirk, who did a brilliant job of it.

This book kind of reminded me of wild child. Really enjoyed the characters, hard-to-not-fall-in-love-with-Cory and the confessions of the celebrity life. Good holiday read for next to the pool and definitely worth your time.

This was fluff, but just the kind I like. Much like her other books but with different characters. I feel like she always models the main character on her self a bit. Nothing mind blowing here but perfect for reading when I was at the spa. I enjoyed it.

The first part was good and the ending. But I found Brook's charcter really annoying when she first got to Brighton, which my opinion of the book go down. But it was nice when she settled down and was more normal and not stuck up
