What a great book. It is based on questions and illustrated answers. It has a where's Waldo feel to it with all the detail but full of information.

A great book that gives you a detailed look into everyday life in ancient Egypt. There are cutouts of an Egyptian home, detailed drawings of cities, farms, palaces, temples, food, and clothing. Every drawing contains many labels and explanations. There is a lot of text. This is probably a good book for upper elementary ages. I looked through it with my five year old but probably skipped over half of the text.
