Domination in Pink is one of the few stories you're going to run across that delves into BDSM and pregnancy. Whenever I've been pregnant, I've found my horniness quoitient just ramps up. The author captures this quite deliciously.
I also loved the snappy dialogue between the male dom and his wife. She is so saucy and baits him constantly. BDSM stories that have a lot of fun in them are so much more like real life relationships. This one seemed so real.
There is a very realistic birth scene in here, too, but it is kind of sweet.
I think women who are concerned about losing their sexual attractiveness during pregnancy should read this and listen to how turned on the male dom gets with his swollen wife. Men should read it, too -- maybe they will lose some of the taboos about having a good bonk with their pregnant wives. Sometimes, that's when we need it the most!

A surprisingly good story given it's length. It's part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. Lydia is a Domme in public and a sub in the bedroom to her Dom husband. She's currently pregnant and about to deliver the baby - so the BDSM play is, of course, limited. Still hubby Damien is creative with what can be done. The author did her homework - nothing too much but tantalizing all the same. She's quite the mouthy lady too so she gets in lots of trouble. I didn't feel though she was intentionally bratty though she tops from the bottom. Clearly this dynamic works for them. There are some hot scenes in here as well and the whole breastfeeding thing was hotter than I thought. It is true (or was for me) that pregnancy brought with it hormones that really ramped up the libido - here Damien gets it and so Lydia is only frustrated when he wants her to be. This is a nice short with more than a bit of naughty - recommended!
P.S. I'm on a bit of a quest to find decent short stories - I consider 50 pages or smaller a short and not really novella but YMMV.

This is a cute hot story!
Damian is a husband that any girl would love he is devoted and totally in love with his wife and even more so with her added baby pounds. I would read One Dom at a Time first even know it's not necessary but it just draws out Lydia and Damian's story. The story wasn't rushed. Had a few hot steamy sex scenes and only birth of a baby!

Lydia and Damian are back! I loved them from the start and it was great to spend time with them again. Holly doesn't write your typical BDSM, who would think to put kink and childbrith in the same story but it works. I felt Lydia's pain during childbirth and laughed as Damian experienced the joys of fatherhood. Loved Raul, he's such a sexy sub!
Can't wait to read the next one!

I lost a bet. Important life lesson - no wagers in the future. But a bet is a bet and it's time to pay the price.
My weird but otherwise wonderful friend thought I needed an experience reading a bdsm book. She actually wanted me to read Fifty Shades of Grey but after reading some reviews I put my foot down and refused. No way was I going to read a book, which reviews made me nauseous. So this was our agreement - I have to choose and read two bdsm novels or novellas but she has to approve them first. And of course I have to give my honest opinion about both books.
I wasn't ready to pay money for books where "pain is pleasure" so I browsed through amazon's free selection. That was scary. Honestly, I had no idea how many books about bdsm there are and how popular they seem to be. But a person learns something new every day.
Finally I chose a book which cover was the least frightening. And after some pouting from my friend (she hoped I would read something really hard-core) I was ready to start reading.
What can I say now after I have finished the book? I liked how much Damian loved his wife and I have to admit that some parts of the novella were really cute. Despite of their lifestyle, which I still don't get it, Lydia and Damain seemed very normal and loving. I was relieved the story wasn't about humiliating each other. And I liked how Damian reacted to Lydia's smartass comments.
While reading the sex scenes I wondered but these didn't make me feel very uncomfortable. But something did - the domination scene in the club. I just don't grasp it.
So, I'll admit I quite liked to story. But still, you can call me a prude but after reading bdsm books' overviews on amazon and here, a lot of those books seem outside my comfort zone.
I'm still looking for my second book. If you have any recommendations, please, be free to post them here.

this book takes place shortly after the first book. if you didn't read the first one. I think you'll be ok. but getting to know Damon and Lucia was the best part.
Abigail was brought into this life by her daddy's hands. And nothing could be more perfect in Damon's life than his family.
settling into the routine for new parents is hard on anyone. but living in the BDSM lifestyle makes it a little harder to adjust. Throw in the 150lb over protective Rottweiler and gay sub, let's just say this whole family thing is hard work.
but Damon is determined to make everything perfect.
As time moves forward Lydia starts to heal and craves. She's ready to be No s tress Lydia again. And she wants her Dom back in her dungeon

Nice quick read. Lots of humor in this one!! I am not generally into pregnancy kink but felt compelled to read this because it is part of the series. I wavered on the number of stars because it is a good story just not my cup of tea in the steam department.
Lydia and Damien are my fav characters in the series so far! They have a terrific dynamic! I have really enjoyed Damien freaking out about the pregnancy in the last couple books!t
A fun light read that takes you away from the worries of the world for a short time. The BDSM is nicely portrayed and I loved that this story was from Damien's POV!!! Yeah! I adore getting into the thoughts of an Alpha male!

Domination in Pink was a surprise. The story of two dominant personalities, married and having a child where he delivers his daughter is hot. I especially enjoyed how he viewed his wife's rounded body in her advanced pregnancy. Despite living a BDSM lifestyle, the protection of the baby came first with this couple both before and after it was born. They played but played safely and loved and understood each other's needs. A safe, sane and consensual BDSM story with a new baby too made this one of my favorite BDSM stories. Loved the pink bow too.

I was looking for an author that I had not read before. I found this little gem for free and fell in love. By the time I finished it I had bought the first 3 in the series. Lydia is someone I could curl up on a couch and kibitz with for hours. Poor Damian finds out that being a Dom does not mean life is going to go the way he wants. What a wonderful short story that lost nothing from being short.

I read and review a lot of sexy books and once in a while, a straight forward book comes along that presents sex as it should be--fun, fresh, rich and inventive. This is one of the few books about sex that you actually want to sit down and read. For a short book, the quality is amazing! I really liked this book. Highly recommend it!

Read this awhile back and forgot to review it.
Only 3 stars because it was a little short for me. Loved the continuation of this couple. And most importantly you can have an active exciting sex life after having a baby.
I didn't care for D in the first book but he was so sweet and dominate he grew on me.

I loved reading about Lydia and Damian during her pregnancy. I just love their relationship and it was nice to read about their life after their book.

least favorite so far, but that's my own hangups about not being able to read about pregnancies/birth. I'm sure it's very good otherwise, just not for me. I knew that going in, but I wanted to read it.

2 1/2 stars, this was an ok and quick read. Lydia and Damian are both dominants expecting their first child and they have to learn how to fulfill each other as their lives change with their family. Some of the scenes were hot but there isn't much of a story.

Of course I had to read this one after I read the fist one, since I knew Lydia and Damien got their HEA. This was a quick novella to fill in on their life and the arrival of their new bundle of joy. I will go back in order and read #2 now.
