This series presents interesting episodes in the lives of the Boot family who live on a farm. In this one the hay barn appears to be on fire. Quick! Call the fire brigade...

Oliver, who is almost six, can read most of this (both top and lower sections) by himself. On the title page he read 'There is a little yellow duck to find on every page.' As it happened, he didn't bother with the little yellow duck. The story grabbed his attention and held it throughout.

I was disappointed that it wasn't a real fire like the title suggests - 6 year old
