Mark Isham's theme to the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' romantic drama makes a beautiful piano solo. This official sheet music edition allows pianists to bring it to life.

I really enjoyed reading this book, the reason being was how uplifting it is to witness how fate can bring two strangers together.I Enjoyed it because it kept my interest in suspense not knowing if they would actually end up together in the end.
I would reccomend this book because it was so interesting to read and never made you bored. It is sort of a mystery because you don't know what is going to happen throughout the book. I would reccomend this book to highschool students and older because it is right at their level and somewhat gives them hope because sometimes people believe they will never find that one love of their life.
This was the third Nicholas Spark's novel that I have read. The plot line was of course similar to the other novels that I have read, but I did not mind too much. I enjoyed the plot. The ending was what really got me because I was absolutely convinced that something else happened. It was an excellent way to the end book, and it left me satisfied with my choice to read that book. Well done Sparks.
This is for older ages to read. It's a predictable book, albeit it was a good read. This could even go as far as the power of a dog and the great relationship between man and dog. It demonstrated good morals and taught about the right/wrong of people.
Let’s start with the cover. Oh, that beautiful cover! At first, it might just seem like an aesthetically pleasing piece of art to decorate your bookshelf, but once you’ve journeyed through the book, it makes perfect sense. The vibrant hues, the mystical symbols – it all clicks into place, and you’re left thinking, “I see what you did there, Saksham Garg. Well played.”
Now, let’s dive into the story, shall we? Our protagonist, Aman Chandra, is the epitome of a sulky teen. But who can blame him? Bullied in school and trapped in the bustling chaos of Delhi, anyone would be sulky. Then, his mother practically hands him over to a stranger, and he’s whisked away to the hidden valley of Vanyasa in the Himalayas. Talk about an unexpected twist in your average teen’s life!
The story is about Logan Thibault, a U. S. Marine who walks across the United States in search of the girl in a photograph that he found in his tenure in Iraq. A photo that turns into a lucky charm for him, even saves him from death more than once. A conversation with his friend, Victor, puts him into this journey - search for the girl. Beginning at Colorado, accompanied by his dog Zeus, he eventually reaches North Carolina where he meets the girl from the picture. Simple human emotions, complex relationships and emotional feelings twine through the plot making it another of Sparks romantic touch.I haven't seen the movie yet, but I am sure the movie has been a pleasure to watch as well
This book...I don't even know what to say about it. I read it about ten years ago and found myself reading it at red lights in the car because I desperately needed to know what happened next. I read it at my desk at work and didn't even care if I got caught. Come to think of it...I think I'll read it again
I love this, it just didn’t take my breath away like his others, there were so many events in the book that could have gone another way but overall good read. I love the way he tells stories so vividly with every word.
I loved the story, it was very mind catching from the very beginning. It's a great love story, probably one of my favorites. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good heart tug!
Giving it 4 stars only because I really struggled in the beginning to get into the story- however I’m glad I gave it a chance because I ended up loving it.
What did you like about the book and what could have been better? I really enjoyed reading The Lucky One. I anticipated that the book was gonna be what i thought it was going to be about. The characters were really interesting to me and I loved how Sparks made the characters really complex. Ben who was the son of Keith Clayton became so real to me. This was because I had pictured him exactly the way he was explain. Sort of nerdy looking playing chess. I really enjoyed how he put in a lot of details to the characters. He made all the characters so complex that you could really picture what they look like. Although i did not like the way he made the character Keith Clayton. He didn't give him any good qualities that could sort of contrast to all his bad sides. It just made him as a character who was ONLY a villain.
Discuss the style of the book? The style of the book was sort of emotional because he was talking about war and love at the same time. Sometimes he would make the most simple settings seem so complex. He definitely was using a lot of imagery. For example in the book he said "In the distance, the thunder sounded, low and ominous. There was a storm on the way, and the heaviness portended a big one." The way he uses his words brings suspense.
What is the moral of the book? The books shows a strong meaning of fate and destiny. He sort of shows that people can be lucky with simplest things. Even if they don't realize it. He shows that there can be magic to a persons life in some sort of way. He shows the people can have the ability to influence their future in a way that seems like a coincidence which leads to the feeling of luck in their lives because of the fate that came unknowingly.
In “The Lucky One” by Nicholas Sparks, the story starts off when a guy from the marines, Logan Thibault discovers a picture of a beautiful girl. He was convinced to meet her and decided to go toward North Carolina to find her. Beth, who was the beautiful girl from the photo was thought to be his lucky charm. After he leaves the marines, he goes out to find Beth, hoping they would end up together. “The most ordinary things could be made extraordinary”(345). They are strongly attracted to each other and with time, they end up happily together as wished. “He was the toast to her butter”(383). A possible theme for this story is “you’ll never know if you never try.” My favorite character in the book was Logan. I admired him because he was so convinced on trying to meet this girl of his dreams and ended up leaving the marines to find her. This shows his strong meaning of love and wanted to risk a life time opportunity to be with her. I think every guy in the world should be like him, even though they’re not. He is such a mature and intelligent guy who will do anything for his girl. I think this was a more personal reaction because either character could’ve been chosen as the favorite, but I admired Logan more. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and I think anybody would enjoy reading this book also. Girls would be more likely to read it in my eyes because it’s more of the “love” type of book. I would recommend this book to my sister Kristina because we have the same taste in a lot of things and I know she would want to read it.
The Lucky One by Mark Isham is a novel that I really had a hard time putting down. In fact I didn't put it down but read it front to back in 6 hours. The story kept me locked in focus. Logan Thibault, is a man who went into Iraq on tour 3 times, and amazingly made it back home due to a lucky picture he found of a woman, in the middle of the desert. Due to certain reasons he seeks out this woman in a way to somehow repay her. Finding himself in a small town Hampton, North Carolina, Thibault is drawn into the lives of a the woman in the picture, her young son, and a dangerous ex-husband. How will they effect Thibault? How will Thibault effect them? The themes that I think stand out the most in this book are fate and destiny. The theme is revealed throughout the book as we go back to times in Iraq, Thibault and his friend Victor, who heavily believed in things like fate and destiny. The book continues to show things like fate and destiny as you go further in, but I don't want to spoil the ending so I will leave it at that. I believe the novel in my opinion was well spaced out, with plenty of suspense. The characters were realistic and you could actually see them existing. The intended audience seem to be young adults and above. With many literary elements like irony and flashbacks. This novel is good especially for people who enjoyed "The Notebook", and romantics.
I thought that this book was very good. This is a great book to read. The author gives great details and I recommend this book to everyone. Nicholas Sparks always writes the best books. This book is about a guy who is in the army. He finds a photograph of this girl and he is determined to find her. The girls name is Elizabeth. He finds the photo and thinks that he's "the lucky one" because his best friend had died. When Logan Thibault finds this picture he is determined to find her. In this book he faces many adventures trying to find the girl. He always is a very bold, and he wants Elizabeth to know that he really cares about her. I recommend this book to boys and girls because it has a really good story to it.It also keeps your intrest the whole time.
I might be a bit biased here now. I am a huge Zac fan and him casted for the role of Logan is all the reason why I read the book. I loved it. Logan & Elizabeth's relationship and its portrayal where two strangers get connected instantly is what i liked. One thing about the story is that , since there was the photo element secret with Logan you always want to keep on reading to know how it all ended with Beth and logan. Did Beth hate him after knowing that he has her brother's guardian angel ? Did she understand him ? Did they finally live together ?
Recommend it to all the Nicholas Sparks fans out there..!!!
