When a university job interview goes south, Carrie Wade isn’t certain that she’ll ever find work in her field of ancient Native American Culture. Knowing the only job waiting for her is waitressing at a coffee-house, Carrie indulges in a post-disappointment shopping trip. An old necklace in an antique store window catches her eye and she immediately feels as if she cannot walk away without owning it. The very last thing she needs to do is squander her savings by investing in a necklace that may have, at one time, belonged to one of the tribes she studied…but she can’t help herself.
When she tries on the precious necklace at home, she passes out and wakes up in the tent of the necklace’s original owners, three Native American tribesmen from the late 1600s. Will she be able to get back home to the future or will she find out that the one place she was always meant to be was back in time as the tribe’s bride?
This novella contains m/f/m/m interaction, three handsome brothers that will do anything for each other and their woman, and a magical necklace that brings them all together.
Always a favorite of mine. I've reread this several times and continue to enjoy it. Carrie takes a bit of time to adjust to her new way of life, but when she comes around she embraces it fully. I liked her inner strength and how she was willing to acknowledge the strengths of each of the men. Coyote is a strong and patient leader. I like how he allowed Carrie the time she needed to come to accepting her circumstances. Bear relies on his physical strength, but is gentle with Carrie. Hawk is sweet and tender. He's carrying a huge burden of guilt and fear of being rejected. It was wonderful to see him let go of that and bask in Carries love and acceptance of who and what he is. The conclusion is super sweet. Adult read
" A necklace makes dreams come true!" Oh what an amazing book!. The characters are charming!.Carrie is a spunky woman that love Native American culture. And three sexy Native American Brothers, Coyote the oldest brother, Bear the middle brother and Hawk the sweetest younger Brother. The story line is incredible ! . Carrie happens to see a Native American necklace in a antique shop and decides to buy it. Years earlier the Brothers had said a spell over the necklace. Little does Carrie know that necklace is going to change her life forever. I am never disappointed reading R.e Butler's books!. She is an incredible writer!.
The Tribe's Bride: The Necklace Chronicles By R.E. Butler ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was given a copy of this book to read and give a honest review. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
4 Star Bride Her university job interview goes south and Cassie Wade isn’t certain she’ll ever find work in her field of Native American Culture. After indulging in a post – disappointing shopping trip, Carrie finds an old necklace in antique store window that she just has to have and her world is forever changed when she tries it on and lands in the late 1600’s with three Native American tribesmen who want her for their bride.
This time travel historical fantasy romance is a magical, stirring read. The characters are bold and stand out which makes it easy for readers to become caught up in their story and while Carrie and the three men have lots of chemistry, the relationship hinges on whether can accept her new life or not which has lot of emotional turbulence flowing from the pages.
The plot is steady paced and provides readers with a vivid picture of the setting, the characters and the situation which just makes this story life like and easily enjoyed as they feel as if they part of the story. While this story is a little on the short side, readers can’t help but enjoy the magical twist to a happily ever after in an unlikely but definitely passionate way.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!! Carrie Wade’s unexpected journey through time, triggered by a magical necklace, is a captivating premise that blends romance, history, and the supernatural. Carrie’s transition from a modern-day woman to a tribal bride in the 1600s is well-crafted, and her connection with the three brothers is both intense and passionate. The brothers’ loyalty to each other and to Carrie is touching, though the dynamic of a m/f/m/m relationship might not be for everyone. The historical setting adds an intriguing layer, and the mystical element of the necklace adds a sense of wonder. While the romance is steamy, the pacing sometimes feels a bit rushed, and the plot could benefit from more depth. Still, it’s an enjoyable, if light, read for fans of time travel and ménage romance.
Sweet time traveling story. Enjoyed the tie from her seeking unique knowledge from schooling that helped her with her time traveling. If you want a quick read that is light I would recommend this.
R.E. Butler takes everyone's Dreams & Fantasies of Time Travel then turns them into one kick ass & Sexy as Hell Novel!...
The story follows the life of Carrie a young woman living in the modern day world, struggling to find work in Native American Culture she decides to indulge in some retail therapy by buying a Beautiful Native American Tribal Necklace, little does she know, with a little bit of magic & hope it will take her away from her mundane life & into the arms of three sweet & hunky brothers. (the lucky girl!)
R.E. never disappoints when it comes to drop dead delicious lead males but this time I think she has certainly out done her self!
"My Sweet Bride does not have to beg for my favors. I gladly worship your sweet flower."
The Sex as always was very very Hot yet sweet & romantic, the wonderful thing about r.e's writing is she always makes this new, fresh & entertaining...after so many dirty book I still blush reading her novels...lol
The Characters were well developed for a Short Story, a bit unrealistic but considering the storyline realism isn't a priority.
All in all The Tribes Bride is a romantic & sexy read which I would defiantly recommend & I'm looking forward to more in the series.
Carrie was down to the last of her savings without a prospect of a job. So to spend that last couple thousand on an ancient necklace was a foolish choice. However, the necklace was so beautiful, and she knew of its history – or she thought she did!
When she wakes up in a strange place with three outcast brothers from a long-forgotten Native-American tribe, she is told that the necklace brought her to them – 400 years into the past! What’s more, it brought her to the past to become the wife of all three brothers!
This is a wonderful story of finding your place in the world, even if it isn't within your own time. Carrie was hesitant at first about the brothers, but they treated her with a great deal of respect and patience as the reality of her position and purpose sank in. They didn't even touch her until she was ready for them. But, when she was finally ready . . . holy cow! The marriage ceremony was beautiful, and the hot, steamy sex was even better. The boys certainly knew how to take care of their woman!
Although it’s romantic erotica, we’re posting it on DirtyLittleBookWhore because the sex is hot and pseudo-taboo! I use the term pseudo-taboo because we’re talking about three guys with one girl – full-on action where she is filled in every hole. It’s a good thing humans can breathe through their nose! Plus, there is not just one hot sex scene in this puppy; there are a few, and each one is just as hot and “creamy” as the next.
R E butler is always a one click author for me, I've read nearly all her series and have enjoyed them all. This time though I just really struggled with this story.
It's written to the same high standard as all her other books, the story has lots of details right from the start. Carrie Wade studied Native Americans Culture, unfortunately for her it's not easy to find a job in which she can actually use her degree. After another unsuccessful interview she finds herself in an antique shop admiring a necklace. It's too much but she can't tear herself away and buys it. Following a few weeks of indecision she finally puts it on. From there she is transported back in time into the arms of three very hunky brothers. The story then unfolds.
I really enjoyed the three brothers but I wanted abit more of them, I kind of felt like we were just skimming over the surface of their personalities. The story covers quite a long period of time, which was good in the sense that her acceptance of the brothers and her new future wasn't rushed but I just felt that I was missing out on a more involved story. Too many chunks of time missing that I really wanted to know about.
I'm often overly wordy and long winded in my reviews ;) but I find that I'm still learning when I'm truly passionate about something either good or bad, something I Loved or Hated to convey my feelings as simply and succinctly as maybe I should.... But when it's a book like this one that while was a very pleasant read didn't really garner any strong emotions in me, I almost find myself at a loss as to what to say.... If you like a nice sweet menage and don't need an over abundance of story, but enough where it's not just sex ,then just might be the story for you... All the characters were heartwarming and endearing ( though we don't get quite the backstory on Bear the middle brother we do on Coyote the oldest or Hawk the youngest,we do get the feel of 3 wonderful, beautiful distinct personalities) and make this a sweet, sweet loving story.. While this was definitely middle of the road for me ( didn't love but didn't hate) I'll definitely be keeping it off to the side in the cloud to enjoy again some day ;) And while I have not dreams of living our in the woods in a tent existing like them, I'd soo dearly love to as loved and cared for as Our h is here ;)
Carrie Wade isn’t certain that she’ll ever find work in her field of ancient Native American Culture. In lost languages how many jobs are out there for this degree. Living on the last of her savings she comes across a ancient necklace that she just has to have. She is drawn to the necklace and its history. Breaking down one day she puts it on and goes to sleep. When she wakes up it is to find 3 Native American men surrounding her in their tepee. Thankfully one of the languages she learned is theirs. She is in the 1600 and no way home. The brothers are banished from their tribe and on their own. They have never seen a white woman before let alone a naked one wearing the necklace their grandmother gave them when they were banished. What transpires is a wonderful story of love and hope.
I really liked this storyline. R.E. butler really knows how to weave a tale and capture the reader. This may sound like a far out there story line yet it really works and keeps your attention till the last page.

I have always loved Native American History and to have it put with one of my favourite genres to read Romance, with a little heat, was perfect for me.
The story is based around Carrie, a woman who gets transported back in time through a spell cast on a necklace. She is brought to three brothers Hawk, Coyote and Bear. Without giving too much away it’s a lovely romantic story in Novella form.
This was the first time that I came across any work by R.E. Butler and I will very much be looking out for the continuation of this series and also other work by her. Her writing style is very smooth and flowed very easily. I read the pages without realising that pages had gone by.
I loved her characters, each male lead offering something new and exciting. I think the basis of a perfect man if you put all three together. I also loved the descriptions of the scenery. It was a very well written Novella which is the start to an amazing series.
I didn't expect to like this book, but it was very good. For a short story, it covered the story very well and had fairly well developed characters. Writing was pretty good too.
Story: Carrie has a love for Native American linguistics and history, particularly a particular tribe. After a job interview tanks, she stumbles upon a antique story and buys an ancient necklace from the tribe she studied in school. When she tries it on days later, she transported back in time to meet banished brothers Coyote, Bear, and Hawk. They've brought her back in time via the necklace and want her to be their shared bride.
Seriously, loved this book more than I thought I would. Like I said initially, great characters, decent storyline, and hot sex. This was a book I went into with low expectations that ended up surprising me in a good way. I'll have to check out more by this writer.
I like how he allowed Carrie the time she needed to come to accept her circumstances. Bear relies on his physical strength but is gentle with Carrie. Hawk is sweet and tender. He's carrying a huge burden of guilt and fear of being rejected. It was wonderful to see him let go of that and bask in Carrie's love and acceptance of who and what he is. The conclusion is super sweet.
When I started this story, I honestly was a bit nervous. I did not think I would enjoy the plot, a young woman traveling back in time and becoming the wife of three brothers. To me, it seemed overwhelming, I have enough of a hard time being a wife to one man, I couldn't imagine three! I was very pleasantly surprised!...
I'm not too sure... I like the story plot, of a girl getting transported back in time to the tribes she used to study. Does seem like destiny. But the story is lacking detail. It just seemed to skip all over the place. With not a lot going on, other than them trying to get to know one another. But even then they were short little quips of information. I wish the was more elaborations on situations in the guys lives, and what happen in all those weeks that were skipped over.
I loved this one, just a lot! There are no shifters in this story, unlike all the others of R.E.Butler's that I have read but I didn't miss them at all. Instead I got sexy Native Americans and time travel for a modern, university trained young lady. Thoroughly enjoyed this story from start to finish!
What do you do when you try on a antique necklace you bought and get transported back to the sixteen hundreds. You wondered what you were going to do with your degree in Ancient Inddian Languages, well now you get a chance too use your skills. This is an interesting and entertaining read. Enjoy I did. This is a reread.
read this when it came out!!! LOVE IT!!!to have THREE MAN!!! as your Lover's, now that is one thing for sure.. looking to reading other book's from R.E. Butler!!!
