Do not leave a Lighthaven without permission. The Garden is full of unsafe plants, even though they may be small. Slashweeds can cut deep enough to sever muscle and render limbs useless. Sparkbushes can cause temporary blindness.

The second book in the Rhyme of the Willow series brings more of the same incredibly vivid story of the twins, Axton and Aniva, and their continued search for their parents in the Garden (the world on the other side of the willow).

They have expanded their adventure to Fire Grove, another Lighthaven in the Garden, and with that, they are thrust into more dilemmas and confrontations with the Green Witch as well as dealings with other evil characters, such as the Wilds and Crows from the first book

Fire Grove has chosen a new sage Tika Sprysprout and a new guardian Haze. Lotus from Azure Cove has decided to take the journey to Fire Grove and a new sentinel Brussels as well. This is a great YA. There's adventure, danger, crushes, and character growth and development.
The main characters are twins- one male, one female - who, of course, couldn't be more different. They discover a world different from ours and become entrenched in the goings on.
It's a fantastical world with wonderfully exotic, and even dangerous, plants. Some plants can infect people turning them into a Wild.

It's a fantastic story, very engaging. There are some spots where I feel things could be more

People are compelled to tell stories for all kinds of reasons.
