Fans of the original Uni the Unicorn books may enjoy this one, focused on Easter eggs, but it didn't fill me with much joy. The plot concerns Uni helping the Easter Bunny whose eggs have disappeared for some reason. Remembering how much Easter and hunting for those eggs means to little girls like Uni's friend, the unicorn offers to help find them. There are several scenes in which Uni thinks an egg has been spotted, but that turns out not to be the case. The Easter Bunny has to resort to desperate measures with Uni adding a dash of magic(al) coloring to the newly purchased ones. The artwork is colorful, featuring lots of smiling faces, but much of this is predictable.

Christy Weber continues the Amy Krouse Rosenthal character Uni the Unicorn in this new book in the series that tell a story of how Uni helps the easter bunny. The use of dialog bubbles makes the story a go one for paired readings. Fans of Uni will like this new addition to the series.
