In this prequel to THE PHAROS OBJECTIVE, and a homage to the classic Richard Connell story, 'The Most Dangerous Game', gifted psychic and assassin Nina Osseni finds herself the objective of a very special hunt. Set in the exotic city of Agra, India against the backdrop of the legendary Taj Mahal, she must outwit the world's greatest hunters who are seeking the ultimate challenge that she represents. Combining fascinating history, modern thrills and as always - intriguing ancient mysteries, The Shiva Objective is a must-read for fans of the series, or as just a standalone read.
*Note - it is a short story (about 40 pages), and not a novel.
This story originally appeared in THE GAME anthology from 7RealmsPublishing (2011), which includes many other stories inspired by the classic Connell tale.

Morpheus Initiative Series The Shiva Objective (Prequel)
Nina Osseni (a psychic and assassin) is drawn unknowingly into a game – a game of life or death. Between her gifts and her deep anger when she realizes what they’ve done to her, the game takes a totally different curve than the organizers could have ever imagined. Any more gives away the rest of the story – which is **so** much more fun to read than to have it described to you. ~grin~
This is a short story length, but is packed with action. You can read it prior to Book 1 (The Pharos Objective) in the series, or read it at any point before Book 3 (The Cydonia Objective) – by then it will be giving extra background that will make several later actions understandable.
This is a small bite sized advert for the series it's a part of. A short 10-15 minute reading packs several facets into its short length. It includes a world famous monument the Taj Mahal, a medieval wonder, casting a dubious glance and aspersion into its provenance, controversial but very speculated and throws in a glimpse of the series - Morpheus Initiative which sounds interesting while firing on all cylinders with a hunt. Predictable as hell but an enjoyable ride. Got me mildly interested in the series. David writes smoothly.
