[David Corleto-Bales]

Pleasant book about the creation and development of the Donald Duck character from the early 1930s through the 1960s, and its becoming an instantly recognized cultural icon. Good portraits of Walt Disney and the animators and actors who brought Donald to life in cartoons, and the legendary Carl Barks who expanded the "Duck Family" in the comic books during his long tenure from 1942 to 1966. Fun reading.
