Ethics & Other Liabilities: Trying to Live Right in an Amoral World
For two years in the pages of Esquire magazine, with no more professional qualifications than a decent consience, Harry Stein examined the battle between right and wrong in the most intimate terms. Now collected in book form, Stein's provocative essays eloquently address many of the real, if unspoken, issues of everyday life, providing warm, personal insights that offer a rich reward beyond good and evil.

The book, a collection of essays previously printed for Esquire, was more realistically a 3. References to pop culture and politics from an era that predates my living memory was fascinating. Also, it seems like history repeats itself in the usual ways--we all think the world is going to hell in our era. This illuminates how futile our fear mongering and hate spewing really is.

Examples are dated (because the book was published in 1982) but the message is oh-so-timely.

Not always correct, exactly, but as thought-provoking and revealing as it was when I read it many years ago. These are really essays about life, disguised as ethics advice.

A lighthearted book of essays on ethics from the authors articles in Esquire magazine. Easy read.
