‘The Tale of Two To Kiss a Killer’ The continued journey through time will follow Dominick von Kraige as his rule over the London area is seemingly challenged. On a quest to understand the love filtering itself into his heart, he’ll also be faced with the trials brought on by tensions from a past and present whose paths have finally merged.
Gonna start by saying W O W, the writing in this book compared to the first is like NIGHT AND DAY. The first book was endearing and great in its own way but this book just takes the cake. The characters are all fantastic, the plot was evident and I didn't have to hear about how hot Hamilton was every paragraph. This was 1000% a guilty pleasure read and honestly? Super enjoyable, I mean I read it in like 3 or 4 days. Is it a bit predictable? Yeah. But did it have me gasping at some parts? For sure. Did I shake my head when Dr. Takahashi made his announcement? Yeah......... yeah I did. But ya know? I should have known. Super stoked for the next one.
This book was alright. I didn’t have high hopes from the first one, and this one landed where I thought it would. I have a lot of issues with it, firstly the authors grammar. I noticed a sudden shift in the middle of book one where their writing became overly flowery to the point of phrases being hard to read, not making any sense or just being really cringy. The book is still perfectly legible, but the wording really breaks your immersion.
I also had an issue with the characters from the first book. I understand that this book is about the romance between Dominick and Raeden and it’s mostly told from Dominick’s POV, but there are so many scenes where I wish we switched to either Demisius or Hamilton because once’s Dominick leaves the scene we’re just left in the dark. I would have loved to see a proper reunion between Demisius and Hamilton, and it just feels like the author kind of pushed the characters from the first book aside even though they are still incredibly important to the story. I really like Demisius and Hamilton and it’s so disappointing that they have so few scenes, let alone scenes together that would let us see their romance be reignited by Hamilton’s return. They just feel so forgotten in the story. I also have issues with the author’s handling (or in reality NOT handling) Hamilton’s return, and it just feels like they skimped out on actual character development in favor of the romance between the current main characters.
I did enjoy certain parts of this book, but there are so many things I wish had been done differently.

LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!!! I had so much more fun with this one than the last one though I loved it too! Dom was much more my speed as a protagonist than the perfect Hamilton. I like my men a little gritty teehee. The love story was a little more realistic and I couldn't put it down 5 stars I can't wait for the 3rd book!

There were so many emotions for me with this book like HALLOOOO.
The fact Hamilton came back and had a little crisis that Jermiah grew up and stuff like awhhh I felt so bad for him! (Also I keep thinking of Alexander Hamilton with him)
ALSO DOM WTF THE FACT YOU DECIDED TO TURN IN YOUR BROTHER AND DAD FOR UR FCKING FAMILY. HOW DARE YOU. Idk if Im also the only one with this but when Raeden and Dom decide for the name of the child it is Zelda..... LIKE I HAD NINTENDO ZELDA ON DESIGN IN MY HEAD THROUGH THE WHOLE TIME ALSO HELLLOOOO HER LITTLE SISTERRR???

I have absolutely nothing against re-releasing old books if they are well-edited. This was not it. Please take time to edit the next books from the series; they have a lot of potential but not as raw copy-paste from WP. Love the new cover art tho!
Hands downs one of my favorite authors . This book had me in a chokehold. Though I still have trust issues with author from both 1. I endured and finished
I REALLY enjoyed this book. I was super attached to the first couple, but I was pleasantly surprised when I ended up liking the characters in this book. 100% one of the best mpreg books I've read. I feel like a lot of mpreg novels focus WAY too much on smut & mpreg, but I felt like this book did a really good job of fleshing everything out. The world was well-developed and enjoyable. I love the hunterxvampire vibes.
