Bonkers spoof of hard-boiled detective novels with borderline-psychedelic art. The story line is nothing more than following a character from one place to the next, but the humor is surprisingly cutting and may even get a chuckle from the adult. The art style is not to my taste, to say the least, but it fits the absurdist tone. Followed by a sequel that has a dramatically different art style (i.e., realistic) and the story/dialogue nowhere near as silly (to its detriment).

I can't exactly say that I understood this book. It was kinda weird, the art was weird, and there really wasn't much of a plot.
