Class is not over but I read enough of what I needed to know. The textbook was amazing and well written. I truly enjoyed reading it and never fell asleep, which is a lot to say considering its a textbook. I have read quite a few history textbooks for school and by far this one was the best.

The flow of poetic language is admirable. The perspective is well balanced, but sympathetic to the left. A great introductory survey of American history. Amazingly well written.
