The President is dead! A man is running in the night. He is afraid and needs to rest. But there are people behind him - people with lights, and dogs, and guns. A man is standing in front of a desk. His boss is very angry, and the man is tired and needs to sleep. But first he must find the other man, and bring him back - dead or alive. Two men: the hunter and the hunted. Which will win and which will lose? Long live the President!

Oxford1 Time=80minutes seven word summary= president, murderer, lie, amy, police, inspector, innocent What would you do if you suspect a murderer?? = I will tell all true stories, and I want to prove that I'm not a murderer.
This story was exciting. It was easy to understand, but I don't like ending part because this main character was killed by amy. However he is not a murderer. It made me sad. I hate police and amy because they know he is not a murderer. It was too sad...

Well, This was a good book.... It actually tells a part of our sad truth ... Sometimes we can actually feel injustice .. especially this kind of injustice. An innocent author was killed because of corruption and the absence of the conscience of those who are in charge. frankly, I didn't like the ending ... It didn't show who was the real murderer ... I guess maybe he was the new president!!! Chaos everywhere!! Also I didn't like how the people were sympathetic about the murderer ... I mean they didn't actually know that he was innocent so how they can help someone who is wanted?! Law doesn't protect fools!
i will give this a 8,5/10 because i like most of the scenes and it has a good story line like the part when alex ran out of the prison and the and the old woman helping alex so he can eat and rest at the old womans house. And last i also like when the police chief are finding a way to find alex and knowing that the new president are strict so the chief want them to find alex so they stay up all night trying to find a way so they can found alex, its feels like a mystery scene.
It’s an amazing story, tells us about injustice that fall on innocent people because the government needs someone to blame! It’s a true story happened in a lot of countries with a few differences details..
Llevaba mucho tiempo en mi librero, y pues como era tan corto me he animado a leerlo. Ha sido aburridísimo y ese final??? Pero muy fácil de leer en inglés.
1.oxford level1 2.5/28 90min 3.Man killed president escape prison false charge 4.Soldiers shoot first, and ask question later. Army forced soldier to kill the man without asking him truth. This phrase is really ironic, and I like it. 5.This story is about a president's murderer escaping. A man, Alex, who killed president escaped from prison, and hid from police. I thought, he is a bud guy, but in this story, almost people save him. Before he killed the president, he wrote a book about president. People liked it, and they do not like new president, police and army. Therefore, people save him and they believe he mustn't kill the president. At last, he was killed by army but the truth was not mentioned in this book. The new president forced police and army to get Alex without asking truth, so I thought, actually, new president was a murderer. This story was criticism about government cheating and made ironical remarks. I really love stories like this. This story made my imagination active and made me smiling in gloat.

1. Jennifer Bassett, Oxford, Level 1 2. 95min 3. president, murderer, innocent, escape, help ,family, lie 4. If you are arrested for crime of which you know nothing, which did you try to do, escape or claim your innocence? -I will try to claim my innocence because I think that I am suspected of something I didn't do more and more if I escape police. 5. This story made me sad because people in this book kill an innocent man. At first, I think this story is happy end but at the last I was disappointed. However, I understood that “help” is very important for our life. I want to be a person who would be loved by everybody. And I decided to believe my friend and family.
3.murderer, policemen, old woman, family, friends, lie, mystery
4.(a)He was thity-three years old and a "dangerous murderer", but to Marta he was only a tired and hungry boy. (b)I like this passage. The old woman Marta who helped the murderer Alex had known that he is murderer. However, she treated him as ordinary person. I could feel the kindness of Marta.
5.I thought the ties of family and friends are important. In addition, I felt there are many kind people as well as bad people. This book doesn't describe the truth who murdered the president, so I want to know it!
3)1.president 2.murderer 3.escape 4.people's help 5.book 6.family 7.dead or alive
4)Have you escaped from your house? -Yes, I have. When I was in kindergarten, I dislike going to a cramming school. So I escaped to my friend's house on a cramming school day.
5)I like to this story. I was charmed by the first depiction. This story's tempo was good to read and interest me. But I can't understand this ending. Why did the author write this ending?

I felt bad about end of the story. But this story was interesting. I reccoment to read this book.

The process of the story's evolution is good, with enough tension spreading out in just couple of pages (really good for such a short kind of book like this). But somehow the ending is not really satisfying. The way the author made Alex die is kinda nonsense and uninspiring. I wish in the end they found out who was really the president's murderer.
1. Oxford / level2 2. 05/31=80min 3. murderer, President, hide, prison, secret, police, dead 4. "He was thirty three years old and a dangerous murderer, but to Marta he was only a tired and hungry boy." I like this passage because I can know the gentleness of Marta. 5. I think that this book is the most interesting book in the book I have ever read. I am very glad to be able to read it!
