Love this whole series of Scholastic Q&A books for children. I have a 7 year old who is an excellent reader, but just doesn't have the attention span for much beyond picture books. With his reading level where it is, I struggle to find books that he actually *enjoys*... Chapter readers are intimidating and tedious for him. This series is a great one. The books hold his interest, and he isn't overwhelmed by the amount of information, because it's layed out in manageable chunks.

This is a question an answer book about snakes, lizards, crocodiles, alligators and turtles. It ask many questions that children would want to know the answers to. The questions vary from simple questions to very complex questions. The facts are then broken down into easy to understand answers that many children would comprehend. I would use this book in my classroom when studying about reptiles or if students were doing research on a specific reptile for a report. They could get some very valuable information from this book.
