Great guide to the Luxor monuments, as well as other monuments as far away as Abydos.

Kent R. Weeks exact descriptions of many places of interest in Luxor and the valley of the kings want to make me leave at once for egypt and see them for myself..really! Many pictures, maps and best routes to specific tombs and temples give a lot of useful information for the (future)egypt tourist (like me). Very recommended!

These pictures are to die for. Honestly. The text notwithstanding (it is overall helpful, if not terribly in-depth), the book is worth buying (or at least perusing) for the images.
