Friends. I found this gem from 1999 at the bottom of my Halloween bin (????) and I do not believe I had ever read it! It came from Borders!
Winter's Bride: DNF. I could not with all the Indian slurs, appropriation, etc. I suppose it passed for positive in 1999, in white circles, but I just could not.
A Cold Day in Paradise: A journalist researching a 100 year old hanging goes back in time and changes history in a few ways. Interesting overall, very 1990s women rock, aged mostly okay.
Winter Song: Business woman plays music and ends up back in time in an Arizona village that became a ghost town and tries to save it. She inspired women to cut their hair short, learn hip hop, and make beauty masks? And thought it would be swell to stay in 1899? Not terrible, not great, very 90s.

Enjoyable stories about going back in time. A great summer read.
