Raboff was also an actor known for Peter Gunn (1958), The Man Called X (1956) and Adventures in Paradise (1959).

We read this before doing an art lesson on Chagall. I think it helped Dax mimic the artist's style (which was the point of the lesson). I think it is written for younger children, but it served its purpose for us.
