I Give You My Heart

Rate this book
She was born 'Katiana Renea Scarborough', Princess of Eraduun; though, her natural instincts are so far removed from the expectations set for her, making it more difficult than it should be to find herself. Feeling completely lost, the young princess relys on her family, and friends to mark her path, but she soon realizes the only course she can truly follow is the one set by her heart.

He was born to a young country knight, and his beautiful wife, but after the loss of his father, Daniel was sent to be the ward of the King's chief advisor. He's worked hard for years, training to become something more, but the only time he doesn't feel completely out of place is in the presence of his best friends; the prince, and the princess.

The only thing that keep Kat and Daniel going is knowing they will always have each other -- As children, they chased each other through the halls and around the courtyards of the castle. Now that they're getting older, they've stopped running, but still find themselves somehow chasing as they navigate the choppy waters of adolescence; learning all they can about life, loss, love, and everything in between.

I Give You My Heart is a young adult romance set in what would be considered a "midieval" era. It is the first in what will be a series of novels that follows the love story of Princess Katiana Scarborough, and Daniel Enid. They start young, but the story will continue to age with them. Kat and Daniel will face many adversities; some out of their control, and some of their own invention. With each step they take towards each other, their struggles will only grow. And though they are certain of only one thing in their lives, fate alone will decide what is yet to come.

Hey y'all! I'm so glad you stopped by, and I am beyond grateful to anyone brave enough to take a chance on my books. Since I was young, I have had an affinity for writing about anything and everything. I was brought up in an era of fantasy and adventure, where family, and friendship reined over all. I try to stick true to those ideals in my writing, while leaving echoes of my own life experiences in each work.

"I Give You My Heart" is my first published work, and also the first book in "The Maiden's Song" series. I am eager to continue my journey as an author, with the hopes that my work may bring you all, my readers, as much joy as it brought me to write. I always love and appreciate feedback so don't be shy about reaching out to me via social media. Lots of love y'all!

A perfect representation of first love

I loved this book so much I found myself rereading certain paragraphs just to experience the emotions all over again. I also bought this book in paperback so I can have my children read it in a few years.

Another 3.5 for me, cute YA love story but found myself wanting to punch Kat for being a big fat baby 90% of the time… your trauma & pain is not a valid excuse to be unbearable buttttt s/o to daniel for being the most patient man ever haha. But the bond the 3 share is v heartfelt & endearing

I really enjoyed reading this book! I loved the world the author created. It was throughly thought out, but easy to follow. I also liked reading about young love and the complex emotions that come with it. At times Kat’s rage seemed excessive, but then when I imagined myself as a teenager I remembered what it was like to have big emotions and not know what to do with them so then her rage made more sense. Definitely recommend!

This is a sweet love story of a young princess and a knight. Ticktok made me read it. It’s a YA book so it’s sweet and sad and pulls at your emotions but is also so perfect. Quick read that leaves you feeling good.

This book was such a cute and heart warming story. It gave me a break from my typical villain, fighting, fantasy books. This story portrays a young princess and an aspiring young knight who slowly turn from best friends into more. The book is full of beautiful descriptions that have you picturing everything perfectly. My best summary would be princess bride crossed with Brave. A clumsy, awkward girl striving to be her best stumbling through the responsibilities of being a princess all while navigating her feelings for the dreamy soon to be knight Daniel. This book will leave you laughing and teary eyed. Great character development, funny banter, cute adventures. Look no further for a tale of family, friendship, loyalty and love! On to the second book in the series tomorrow! 💙

This book was absolutely adorable.

I immediately fell in love with all the characters and could not put it down. It made me laugh, cry, and giggle at all the cute first love glances and stolen moments.

If you want a fun, heartfelt, adorable YA to curl up with on a rainy day, this is it.

I can't wait for the next one!!
