This is the book that first taught me how to make rose petal beads. I've since refined the recipe and have made some lovely, scentful beads.

Exactly what it says: rose recipes collected by this formidable lady in the 1920s from her huge collection of gardening and herbal books! I wish I had sone roses at the moment, but my garden border is under development. Rosa gallica officinalis and Rosa mundi will eventually take pride of place!
