really good. kind of baffled that it never got a reprinting or another edition, but I'm grateful my fam kept this on a bookshelf to one day be read again.

who's who of Black artists, poets, writers, thinkers, critics, political figures, revolutionaries from the 60s and 70s in here. Eldridge Cleaver reviewing Franz Fanon, James Baldwin in conversation with Ida E. Lewis (first editor in chief at Essence), Emory Douglas, Malcom X., Amiri Baraka, Ishmael Reed, Ralph Ellison, Nikki Giovanni, Margaret Walker (yeah i know i'm reading names off the cover but still), banger poems from Conyus Calhoun. like you gotta break into a library collection at a university or know somebody who knows somebody at JSTOR to find some of these writings. a glimpse of a revolutionary moment and a future
