My first introduction to the work of Robert McCammon (though I bought it for Clive Barker), this is a terrific collection and well worth a read.

This was quite a great collection of horror stories. Some were just okay, which is guaranteed to happen in a short story collection, and there was only one 2-star story. The rest I thoroughly enjoyed and, will admit, spooked me!
My favourite story by far was "The Baku", though "The Deep End" gives it a good run for its money. Overall, I enjoyed reading this collection and I'd say it is definitely worth it!
