The book was excellent, informative and fun to read.
And the title is perfect for the subject.

Whether you are a manager, statistician, or programmer, the examples and simple analogies the author used in his chapters were excellent in illustrating technical and analytical concepts.
The numerous topics relating to Big Data were covered in a thorough but concise, organized, and easy to follow manner.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who works with Data or in Analytics.

A hood read for anyone interested in the “what” - what needs to be done to incorporate analytics in an organization. Albeit now quite dated by business book standards, the book contains several key timeless observations around organizational dynamics, internal competition, why analytics isn’t another one of those IT-ops and incentives.

A nice overview of a very important trend. It's not overly technical. I would have preferred a few case studies and more detailed examples.

Felt like a primer on Big Data aimed at executives looking to dip their toes in. A little hyperbolic, very prescriptive, but a quick read.

Just the same ole' generic commentary on all the what-ifs and hopeful ideas regarding big data.
I was looking for more substance.
