I've been reading this on and off to learn new words. It is a children's book, but it's also good for someone learning Japanese. It's almost like the methodology behind Rosetta Stone... you associate pictures with words to help you remember. I'll probably use it for a while until I know all the words.

A quick way to expand your japanese voca. Although a lot of repetitions are required to fully integrate them into the brain. But together with pictures and juxtaposition help a lot.
